Set it at max DPI and adjust your in game settings accordingly. You'll probably want to play with 3 or 4 sensitivity in CF.

I play with 3 sensitivity with a 400 DPI mouse (came with my computer).

Im not looking forward to spending big bucks on high-end gaming mice (such as razers). Nonetheless, if i cant find anything otherwise, ill prob. purchase one.

i am on a laptop with a touch pad... i never ever played c.f with a regular mouse.. i tried once and i failed.. i d k y but i cant play with a regular mouse..

High dpi can be a bad thing sometimes. I game on a razer deathadder and the max dpi is too sensitive for me. I have to put it at 900 dpi with a good mousepad surface to achieve perfect balance of precision and stability.

If you are using a laptop, that logitech mouse is brilliant.

But for a desktop I'd rather go for something else like Razer Salmosa or Diamondback 3G
or a steel serires kinzu will do for me...

For a mouse pad try this
Roccat taito, i personally use it and its brilliant as long as you dont go further than 2000-3000 DPI
