Any tips?

So, Ive been playing for a while, mostly random TDms or SnD matches, and I do pretty well. But now, that I actually settled on one account, I want to do better. So, mostly I'm looking for tips on headshots with a rifle. Before, I just let the recoil ride up to the head, but I want to be able to aim for the head instantly.

Long range the k2 is quite good. Medium range it's still decent. But close range you get screwed over by the slow firing rate.

M4 is easily the best rifle in the game (perhaps ak can compete, but the recoil makes most people hate it).

Obviously the scar is the "easiest" and often dubbed a "noob gun".

Aim for head, 2 shot burst, strafe, try again.

crazy skills man. I especially love the quick/no scopes in the second one.

Keep deagle.
Literally practise only killing people by only aiming at the head, take your time 1-2 seconds to actually aim at their head. As you practise this your reaction time will decrease = instant headshots adventually.
Allways aim at head-level. If you are camping a door have your cross hair ready to HS anyone coming out.
Also don't be afraid to take your time to burst at mid range instead of a lucky spray. Side to side and burst. Adventually your burts will be accurate = deadly.

Use a low recoil rifle (m4 for example) and basically keep your crosshair at head level.

I click rapidly, I don't hold the mouse down very often. But when you see an opponent tap a few off at the head and then drag your mouse down to the body.


With the deag its the same concept, but don't focus so much on headshots. If it seems do-able then go for it, but deag is 3 shots to the chest.

What i do for headshot practice is 1v1 skilled players in Columbia (hs only that is). Keep doing so until you bore yourself out.

Put what you've learned in scrims+pubs.


It is rare that you come across skilled players in pubs, so it becomes a headshot fest.

Play columbia galil vs galil.


You learn how to keep the crosshairs on an opponent and make every shot count

Practice pistol matches. In pistols you can't let the recoil take over, you have to aim first. Try 1deaging a certain amount of times in a row, and eventually you'll be able to aim at the head quickly.
