That is like saying; because you have to buy ZP to get spops it's no longer free to play game because you can't get a free spop.

It wouldn't be free to play if they made all servers paid that is the only condition or if account cost money.

Also if every server except one required you to pay it's still free to play as long as you can login and join a game hence "free" and "play".

This changes nothing in the normal servers. The players who didn't pay for the game are still able to play the game for free. This is just little extra for those who have paid stuff for the game to have the chance to play together.

Not false. As said only those who purchased ZP would be able to enter the server, meaning no way to get into it without having to spend money. Where as with the SPOP they have surveys you can do for free ZP, but it wouldn't count towards being allowed into the ZP server. So once again, Cross Fire would not be free to play, and they could not label it as such, if even one server required you to actually spend money.

So you wouldn't be able to play for free? True or false.

Really think about that for at least an hour.

Surveys are there to allow poor people to get stuff using their time rather than money, it's still not free. And Z8 didn't allow poor people to do surveys to make the game "free to play" it's already free to play. They just want money from people that have none lol

I think of it as a perk instead of whatever you guys are seeing it as... You spend money, you can get premium items and characters. You don't spend money, you get the free guns and servers. Might as well have just 1 server that could host players who have bought ZP. It does not stop other players from playing as they normally would nor does it give the ZP players a better advantage.

Besides, it's 1 server out of how ever many there are. I doubt people are gonna complain that they can't access one of the many servers just because it's premium.

This isn't all that much of a crime either... I know other F2P games that are practically impossible to do well without purchase of premium items. I'd rather not be able to access 1 server and do well in all the other servers, rather than being able to access all the servers but not having proper equipment available to stand a chance.

This idea reminds of runescape , and memebers only servers, I support this idea, because of the less amount of hackers.

even if it's not a whole server, there could be v.i.p. channels on each server (including clan) players who have a vested interest/investment in the game are less likely to cheat and risking account deletion. Even with surveys and free zp, you still have to invest time a lot of them don't work or you don't quailfy for them etc. The likelyhood of someone with crate guns cheating is far less than somenone who doesn't have any. How many times have you seen "I don't care I'll just make another account" that's not as easy when you have guns that can't be as easily replaced.

If someone playing without spending ANY money on the game cannot have full access to all game servers, it's not free to play. If you have to pay in order to get into part of the game, it's not free to play.

ok so it should be recatagorized as mostly free then, but it seems people are splitting hairs. I don't know of any "free" games where you don't get some kind of extra gear,advantage or perk from spending or earning real money. the same arguements have been made in other games that if you don't spend real money to get better gear you can't compete with the players who have these items. How about the games where you can't access all the features,maps,areas,characters,level caps or gear. Think of it as shareware to get the full benefits you have to spend a little money, what's so wrong about that?

They never had had "full access" as per your definition, for example guns, chars are restricted to ZP buyers only so your not getting full access, so it's p2p right?

And don't mention surveys because you do a survey worth 50 cents and the survey company pays z8 50 cents then you get 50 cents worth of zp that you technically paid for.

Free to play means just that, and you can still play for free whether or not your locked out a server.

But your argument is that if you cannot acces all servers all items etc it's not longer free?

This idea would be AMAZING I support it fully +1. This would also make a lot of less people that buy zp leave the game because of hackers. Like i said I think it's an awesome idea imho.

It's not free ZP.

You could do exactly the same thing and get a paper round ie use your time to get ZP.

That's why when there is a charge-back by the survey company (because you didn't do your job properly) you will have to pay the said amount back to Z8 in real cash.
