Ping issues?

This kind of sounds likea problem with either your net, or your computer getting overheated. I know because I used to havea an Acer windows Vista computer that would get really hot and my ping would shoot up to 500-1000 and stay there. Just youtube a video on how to check your computers temperature. It should show it in the computers BIOS window. If your computer is not experiencing heat problems then check your modem and or router. try resetting them or try turning off your router for a while and let it stay off. reset it and try again and check if your ping is still high. If this still didn't work it may or may not be your modem that is experiencing increased packet loss. This could be due to a faulty modem or just a plain old modem. I recommend if your modem is older than 5 or 6 years, you should look into getting yours replaced with a more recent one. Hope I helped in some way
