The M700.

Yes, another noobie thread by me to take space of the forum, because most will say the AWM is better.
Well, when you start on a new account, you are given THE M16 (Great gun), a combat knife (Who doesn't love it? Nothing beats it) and the great M700, in my opinion, the best Sniper Rifle there is and there will be in this game.
What makes te M700 so special is that it makes headshots by itself, plus, is a light weapon and easy to use at close range, you don't even need to cover like the AWM to kill someone.
Alot of people think that the AWM is the absolute BEST/BEAST/OWNAGEORZ WIPUNZ EVAR/GOD-GUN, and it is fine with me being a weapon that kills in one shot, but HERE in Crossfire, where all the weapons are more accurate and easy to use than any other FPS online game, this gun is so easy to use it is overpowered, it always shoots wherever you aim at.
Of course, snipers are suposed to stay in a tactical spot and wait for someone to come, so you aim and shoot at him, but here it turned into a noob weapon, just aim at a place the enemy is FORCED to go through (Monaco, ship, Egypt), and shoot everyone there, because by the time you get out of your base, you already lost you 3 seconds immunity.
Here is where the M700 comes handy. A AWMer killing everyone? 1- Locate him, 2- Jump to a place you can see him/her, 3- Quickscope and shoot, kill.
It doesn't matter if it only hits 80, it is so fast at shooting you can use it no-scope or even like a combat rifle, because Headshots are automatic.
It is a good choice to keep your M700 like your only sniper rifle, because if you learn how to use it, not even the AWM can beat you.

means you have or low ping or skill

Its true, if u can pwn AWM users with a m700 ur pretty much a beast i have done it a few times, until i finally got enough to buy my own AWM. Now i pwn much harder because this time i only need that one shot, sometimes if i didn't hit the head i would have to run around find a new spot and hit the same kid again before my other team mates got the kill. the 700 is nice, for a minute but the Awm speeds things up and makes it a hell of a lot less stressful on sniping.

M700 takes a bit to warm up, after a while all you get is headshots, as it is lighter you have much more moblity than an awm, and considering you are aiming for head it's still a 1 shot kill. M700 does require more skill.
I use m700 on pubs and awm on scrims. -
stop complaining, got awm use it, got m700 because you cant afford awm face the consequences of 2 shot killing/1 shot killing headshot, i dont see how people try to make them selfs sound good by saying they use m700 just pointless, congratulations your taking more of your precious time trying to shoot the guy a second time when you can be gone looking for a second guy to kill with the awm!

Like a lot of people say, m700 is a sniper rifle for the people that aim for the head. The awm is for the people that are lazy and just want one shot without aiming at the head. I use both. I find the m700 better (when i can aim) and the awm better when i just want to pwn people. Nothing is wrong with the m700

ugh...everyone complaining about who uses what...a headshot is a headshot, doesn't matter what gun you're using [apart from some pistols] a headshot kills...so if you're good at aiming, it doesn't matter WHAT gun you have, just shoot their head ftw!!!

the guy with most kills was using AWM, but it wasn't a duel, just "who kills most"
it is true that the AWM is a great sniper, and the fact that kills with 1 bullet is something, but do not underestimate the other snipers, the fact that they're not better doesn't mean they're a piece of sh!t, is like saying the M4A1 is sh!t compared with the scar light or other ARs. All depends of the user of the gun.
it may be easier to kill with AWM, but i find it more challeging and more enjoying to own with M700
PS: i've won FFA only sniper matches with M700 ater they started. -

Congratulations reading only the title, I must say. I said that I can afford a AWM, plus, I don't need to shoot twice, since 9/10 kills are headshots.
