Who is playing CF on a Lap top? which hardware?

i am getting a new laptop. can you tell me your experiences when playing CF on a laptop?
ill post some details of the one i am most likely to buy..

I've never played in a laptop, but I can tell you will be able to run CF without problems.

I play on laptop Compal JFL92 T8200 3GBRAM 8600GT 512 + turbo memory from intel...
100FPS +/- 10. And I use touchpad ;] try it more then few days... After that its much easier to kill then mouse.

i have played on a laptop which my friend bought a small mouse for it to play crossfire. i find it easier to shoot people with. I actually did better on a laptop than on my desktop.

always played on a laptop mines got intel centrino dual core, 2gb ram, 250gb hd and 256mb adaptable graphics card. it works fine, the one you're getting sounds good

The laptop that you are buying should be more than enough to handle the game. I'm stuck playing on this for now:

Pentium 4 3GHz HT
1gb DDR 333
Nvidia GeForce FX Go5200 64mb

I get 60 frames per second...most of the time.

See,

You dont need a high tech laptop to get good FPS for "Crossfire".

His processor has a very good clock speed which is enough to render this game and with help of some decent graphics card, its all good.

So what I am saying is, get a computer with good processor, not a ultra high end graphics card which only use up your battery and make the laptop hot.

But if you are planing to play games like COD6, Get a Decent/Good/High End graphics card with good processor.

I get 200 fps on low graphics settings, and 100-120 on high graphics settings.

I use a Gatyway laptop.

...and i can barely play CF lolz, i get around 30-40 fps, sometimes it's like 10, i even got 5 once. My ping is like 100 i play on a wireless connection 2,200 miles away from the server...

I play on my laptop. It's a great recommendation to use a mouse because it is indeed hard to control aiming with a touchpad.
Of course I use it but I sometimes use my mouse as well.
And, if your processor is bad then it will shut down the game after like 3 minutes of a match.

Tips:
Keep it on 'charging' when playing.
Use Game Booster from IOBit if you use the wireless adapter.
Set the mouse sensitivity to at least 50-70; If your fingers are slow then set it at 80:75. It will be quick but better for you.

But, if you are using a mouse, then you should keep it at 50. I keep mines at 25 because of my laptop's process and the mouse sensor.

i bought an hp pavilion dv8. that thing is a beast. well crossfire wont work of course, even though its a win7 64bit... hm well, the beast will bé bored with crossfire graphics anyway, though i d like to play it again sometimes, quite a good account i would say.

I use sens 10 on my touchpad ^^ 50 its to crazy.... how aim on this speed? My kdr on touchpad its 2.5+...

I am X-499003 and I play on an eeepc-900 look on the net it's really crap!

a tiny screen...

I have 130-160ping, 3-40 fps and I am not too bad at crossfire look my profile.

But I really dream that one day i will play with 10-50ping, 512-102mb graphic card, 3-4ghz procesor and a screen like 22-26inch if this day comes I will own you all!!

The keybord is really good.

my laptop is crap.

got an acer aspire 5920
4gig ram (paid 180 to get from 2-4gig)
graphics card is only a mobile intel 965 express chipset family card.
the 4gig ram does nothing to the fps i get in the game. it runs a max of 358mb of graphics ram.

i need a new laptop.

btw. best i ever get is in a 1v1 match 40fps. FTL.

I get 10-40 fps but mostly i get 20.
and i hate it when i play on it because my ping moves crazy! goes to 100, 200, 500, 700, 300 800, 1000, 250.. and it ruins my gameplay..

wow my computer ( PC not laptop) specs are crap:

intel core 2 duo e6300 1.86 GHZ
2 GiGs of RAM
320 GiGs of harddrive
and a crappy intel gma 950
i get 10 fps... but at least i get 12 ping
