Patcher Problems

after i run the cf starter and press start the patcher starts and it runs in the back round doing nothing..
i installed again cf but same think.

any solutions?

I just had to reinstall CF completley...for the trillionth time. Sometimes I notice the patching progress bar doesnt move for 5-10 minutes & would almost seem to freeze up...but it doesnt. Its still doing its thing & loading the data. I dont know if thats what you mean or not. But Ive got a pretty fast pc & hsi & again can take 5-10 minutes for me sometimes to see the bar move at all. If this is what youre talking about then just get everything set up like normal. Walk away from your pc for 15-20 minutes, even 30 minutes if need be & Ill bet youll see it completed when you get back.

OK, patcher is running but just going real slow. I had this problem when I did the christmas patch but it was my internet. I was using wifi in a hotel. Not saying that it IS your problem but, worth a look nonetheless. If you are on wifi, try to hook up directly. Post back and I will try to help as much as I can.

im on LAN atm ill try to connect directly from the pc to the internet without the router.

the patcher for other games do the same think...

Then more than likely that is what is causing your problem. Post back your results.

It still doesnt work... and i uninstall all other online games, turned of the anvirus(m essentials) and same think...

And I uninstalled CF and installed again that was about 6 hours ago when i discovered and from then im trying to make it work

i keep getting x-trap error when im trying start it
i read in some others thread to click ok and reset it again and again and after few time it will work but still doing nothing
im getting code error 10-8.... like alot of people

I was able to get it to work buy restarting. If that hasnt helped you, then I do not know what to do as of right now.

my patcher problem

my patcher just wont work at all. when i try to start crossfire, i get a notice saying that its downloading the seed files and then the patcher would stop responding. and i cant reinstall crossfire because when ever i try to download from the website, all of the patchers would stop responding.

any1 got any tips to help me out?
