why do you feel the urge to type other than after death to say where an opponent is, in game is nothing but mostly baddies QQ'n anyway...let their deaths be the justification of their noobism so to say lol....this isn't chat-roulette...its an FPS

Worst part is, if I wanted to use filtered language there. Would be so much nicer if we could just have an option to disable filter.
Exactly! Would love to see a filter put in place to be able to switch the language filter on and off. -

The filter can be stupid.. yes.. But it will undergo improvement with words that are blocked unnecessarily.
I'd be surprised if it isn't. But then again, the filter usually is based on whats constantly spammed and abused. Heck if the BR's acronyms is banned, stuff from other regions being blocked are no surprise to me. -

You'd be surprised how often I have to type Geebus. lol. It's a pretty common phrase, and to most, its not insulting, but generally anything with religious background is touchy for anyone so that alone could be insulting to someone. -

Thats the only problem I have with the word filter and theres nothing really to back it up

If this is going to turn religious... why isn't that other religious words from other religions censored?

and to follow up on censorship... about curse words in foreign tongues?
I feel as if Z8 have taken it a bit too far. As obviously stated, banning foreign words just messes with english words.
This is the only flaw I see in Z8 hah. It does get revised though.. as with the noob and fk problems... -

Maybe a re-visit of an old official policy can help end this conversation I'm sure.
