Now this is something else than just poor reg...
Its registering as a headshot (at the most the last shot is...) while doing less than normal body damage from an M4...
At least its being looked into anyway... this is different than the usual "REG IZ SO BAD!" thread. -

Reg is fine to me in crossfire when i dont fraps.

meant to say my past experience. Fps plays a factor sometimes. hs are clean clicks with 150 fps, when i had 20, not so much, would unload half clips for 40 damage.

I'll agree low fps could definitely cause an issue hitting moving targets at lower fps due to screen position, but they were both standing still. It wouldn't mean jack. -

seems like rarely that hitting the same spot gave a hs.
its probably one spot, when you look at the possiblities that it will hit
anywhere but the one spot is extremely higher than hitting the mouth and doing 28 -

Im just stating an opinon, of me not having these issues.
when i turn a corner, and i see someone and click on their
upper chest=1st bullet
head= 2nd bullet
and i do 28, i know that my first bullet reged but his shot reged before me

Can't recall once where my headshot didn't register as a headshot in 'the heat of battle', outside of testing purposes.
It's quite often, against all forms of people with different latencies. (Just worse with laggers)
I typically aim a tad higher when going for headshots for this very reason. this 'neck' issue causes alot of grief.
I'm curious if its the same as the back side too.
I've even heard the sound and even the death cry of my character without actually dying via this method. -

m4a1 is broken. but if you 2 burst or 3 burst to the head every single time rather then 1 clicking you will almost never have the issue of 28 dmg. If you just 1 click to the head with m4a1 i would say 30-40% of the time it registers as 28 dmg. Even if you aim higher, you can actually have the cursor on the head and it registers as 0 dmg again 30-40% of the time. I speant a long time testing this.
a Gun like the ak47/m60/rpk tho i will say 100% of the time if you aim to the head it registers as 100dmg.
I always thought it was just the accuracy of the m4 compared to those guns is terrible but this game isn't detailed enough to show where the actual bullet is going

this game is extremely detailed and the size of the bullets in the ak47/m60/rpk are bigger then that of the m4a1. ( no way of testing if that is true because when you shoot a wall or box, the mark left on the wall are all the same size )

Multiple times per game when sauce and I 1v1 (we do it regularly). We confirm over mumble that the HS noise was made. -

It happens to me a ridiculous amount of times per game. That's why I wanted to test it.
