Umnn Is investing in any rest item from the mall worth it?

Im wordering if all it does is rest my kdr and win loose stats..if so...I dont get the point >.<

Comments

  • it is for people who are better than their current kds... like for example... i started playing warrock with a laptop and i maxed out with like a 1.0 kdr(touchpad). once i got a desktop comp, i went for 2.5 kdr... so ya. some people may choose to reset it to look better
  • personally i don't think your kdr matters. if you have a low one, people will think your not so good and lower their guard or do something stupid. if you have a high kdr, people will go on your team and follow you around and ks you. i prefer a 1kdr for shtz and giggles
  • Well some clans have a kdr requirement. Plus, it just makes you feel better and get the respect you deserve for pwning. 8D (unless you're farming)
  • My kill death ratio would be positive had I had a better ping. On my friends computer where I have 180 ping I absolutely tear people apart, on my computer where I have 270 ping I just got owned. When I have a ping similar to everyone else's, I am a beast and tear people to shreds with my skill in using the Steyr AUG A1. :)
  • Bro, it depends. If you pwn and you have a lower k/d or w/l than you usually get in game then reset ur stats.

    lies. lolz
  • I like my negative K/D score. It helps noobs to underestimate me.

K/D scores mean absolutely nothing. It doesn't tell you whether a player is good, bad, if (s)he is a farmer, a hacker, or plays matches against obvious hackers out to the end, just so (s)he can report it. All it tells you is how many kills and deaths a person has got, but not the circumstances in which they were acquired.

This is true, just look at me for example.

meh, i play at about a 1.9 - 2.3 on most occasions. my overall kd is about 1.4 ive bought over 300k zp and i havent spent any on a reset. i dont see the point =)

Same here. I play BL in Ghost Mode 9 out of 10 times, and run into 10 to 20 chammers per day. And only a hand full get kicked. So its no wonder that my kills are +/- 10.000 behind on my deaths.

maybe you just aren't very good?

Flame more (how to make friends and influence people) not

As for K/D ratios, not an accurate picture of a players skills.
    1. Ping has alot to do with it
    2. Not everyone has a high end gameing box

spend your ZP on goods not resets you will be happier in the end

If you're looking for a ban, I suggest you keep up the insults and harassment, Doop.

i've probably been alittle hard on you, but i think it is cause your against snipers having good tools. seems to me you would rather everyone have the kris and snipers only get to use the psg

    my apologies

he said it slightly harshly but i very much doubt you see 20 chammers a day. People over estimate how many hackers there are in crossfire as an excuse to be worse.
Also i agree with lolli i don't know why you would want to destroy everything you have done in crosffire and pay for it to happen. Unless you farmed and have qiut farming.
  • to make you have a better KDR is the point :) ( if you can)

On the contrary, Doop. I'm all for snipers having good tools, thus why I'm against the Barrett M82 .50 cal., for I think its not a good tool for the current maps that we have. You see, to keep the game fun, the need to nerf the weapon in order to balance out the awesome power that M82 has. Meaning it will be as heavy as the M60, making you slow, it will have a longer loading time, and probably a the slowest firing rate of all weapons. Making it a kill-1-die-1 weapon in most people's hands with the current small maps we have.

The M82 is the perfect sniper rifle if you have large open maps, but all we have is Close Quarter Combat maps. Meaning that a slow heavy anti-armored vehicle weapon like the M82 is overkill for the unlucky fool that would get shot with it, but is most likely a death-trap for the unlucky fool shooting with it. Because before he is able to shoot at his next target, his next target will have had all the time he needed to shoot back.

For this reason I suggested the M110 S.A.S.S., a sniper rifle perfect for C.Q.C.. It lacks the power of the M82, and isn't even a match for the power of the AWM, but it is automatic and faster that the PSG-1, has a larger clip, a silencer, and above all, should get a crosshair, for it is designed to be both a long range and a C.Q.C. weapon. In my eyes, I see the M110 as the better sniper rifle for this CF version.

I may have exaggerated on the numbers a bit, but Ghostmode is notorious for its chammers. And in replay, chammers are the easiest to catch, for you see them follow the name tags of the enemy through the walls. And even in S&D, these chammers have been active and been caught doing the same thing.

I'm one of the few people, who tries to provoke a suspected chammer into revealing himself in replay. For this to work, I need to set a trap for him with myself as bait. I would have to allow this person to shoot me under different circumstances, like in normal play, faking being AFK, hiding in an unlikely spot, and hiding on the other side of a large area with gun fire between us. This are 4 deaths I take voluntarily to either catch a hacker or clear a good player who's being accused by criers. And in the long run, I see this more profitable than having a good score myself. And as long as I see most of my reports turn in to actual bans, I know I'm doing right by my work. For your fun of playing a fair game is my objective, and I happily die virtually to catch those who are trying to ruin that fun.
  • What LolliRoger said about the M82, so true. The M110 would be much more appropriate for this sort of game. Also, my K/D ratio is upset greatly by my high ping which makes it almost impossible to shoot ghosts on Ghost Mode due to their high speed and the fact that I actually take the time to use the less noobier weapons and learn them rather than just getting a SCAR Light and AWM and just rip everyone apart 24/7.

Seeing as how I don't play clan-matches, my scrim experience and K/D score are both 0.

the Barrett isn't that much different from the AWM in the Chinese version played at wcg. We are talking about crossfire not real life. These references to open maps and vehicles are completely absurd. In crossfire the barret and the awm share the same scope, it has the same capacity as the awm camo. The fire rate seemed to be relatively the same. Effectively it is the same as the awm camo.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkTCiN3gphM

If you can snipe with the awm on the current maps you can snipe with the barret. About the only map you can't snipe both sides effectively on is Ceyhan on BL side. I don't see where you are getting that crossfire's maps are so small and cluttered. CS maps are smaller than crossfires. Personally I think you are an idiot and are clueless when it comes to actual game play. Then again I shouldn't expect much since you aren't in a scrim team or have any experience outside 8v8 gm pubs. Subagames doesn't nerf zp weapons, every zp gun is better dmg or clipsize wise than its non zp counterpart.

Also what small maps are you talking about, all the S&D maps are great for sniping with the awm and therefore would be great for the barret.

And fyi in real life the barret is semi auto not bolt action, so your reference to the sniper getting killed by the second person is completely wrong.

And this is precisely why I don't want to see the Barrett M82 come to CrossFire US. Because it shouldn't be a poor copy of a lesser rifle. The Barrett isn't an AWM, so making it perform like one is an outrage. The Barrett is twice the gun the AWM is, both in power and range wise. So how can you say that these weapons aren't being nerved?

So yes, if CrossFire US (unlike CrossFire China) stays true to the Barrett M82, instead of making it into an "AWM-Camo that looks like a Barrett M82", then the maps we have now would become too small for this weapon to show its true potential.

Also, I've told you before, THIS IS NOT CROSSFIRE CHINA. What goes on there doesn't necessarily translate well to this version.

Anyway, I through debating this matter with your, cause you are deliberately trying to "bait" me into starting a flame-war here, with your continuous insults. Also this thread has gone off-topic long enough. So I'll leave you with a final note: Internet tough guys like yourself, who live to start fights on the net, shouldn't be calling other people idiots until they can see how idiotic their own behaviour is.

Almost every gun in crossfire isn't comparable to real life. Guns that are horrible in crossfire, perform quite admirably in real life. This isn't a military simulation, this is as you have said many times "a fast paced first person shooter" If you want realism go play armericas army.

Also, I've told you before, THIS IS NOT CROSSFIRE CHINA. What goes on there doesn't necessarily translate well to this version.

You mean nationally recognized tournaments, stable game engine, massive item mall, large player base, multiple game modes and maps. Yea you're right none of that goes on in this version, all we are left with is idiots like you who ruin the chance for this game to actually corner part of the US market.

    REMOVED

How are the maps too small? Do you even know how to snipe in this game?
  • while these 2 go at it, ill just put my input in real quick....

dont waste your money on those items, if anyones judging your playing skill with a pub k/d, then theyre probably just mad that you killed them.

if you wanna have fun and buy stuff that isnt crates, id say an advanced weapon, my suggestion being the m4-adv, or awm-camo. or try one of the new grenades, from what i heard they are rather effective.

if you want somethign perm, get the spop character, youll get to watch 10 year olds talk about your E-thong. kidding (sorta) =p
