Merry Christmas! - Returning ribbon for 2012, log in on Dec 25th (all day EST time zone)
The Launcher will automatically download the patch when you execute it after the maintenance. Once it is downloaded you will be able to patch your game. Please be patient as there will be lots of people patching.
If you experience troubles with the patch including errors involving; version.ini, file changed errors or connection errors we recommend reading through the following thread for solutions:

Where is the coupon gun? OMG, we all read it that there is a coupon gun, now it's not there anymore....... -
Another minor problem, but that tick me off a little. It's about Bio Facility. There's no special textures and it looks less appealing. It's the same thing in CF China. But CF Korea & Japan got it right, :S
I know the rules, but it's only to show you the problem.
Hope you can tell the dev to fix this along with the sorting option UI bug, it's kinda annoying when we don't know exactly where the mode is even if you have a general idea.

Thanks for this. We're not entirely sure why those textures are missing. We'll see what we can do to fix that! -

omg sorry about triple post spam but one more: I had problems couple months ago with CF.exe, that's what I am referring with my problems in the past. -

That's likely due to your AV or firewall blocking part of the download and/or install.
The error means you don't have the proper files to play the game.
Disable your AV and firewall and redownload the game and install it.
We have a link to our common solutions thread in the main post with a very detailed description on this error and how to fix it.

) Finally got a new GM map I've been waiting a long time for that :P I was hoping it was that map too Shame about the special textures but it doesnt really affect the game play :P

Yeah that was the error I got in the past, I putted CrossFire-folder on my firewall's exception list and that was ok by then but it really shouldn't cause anymore errors like that after I've changed it this way.
And the error message I get is weird, it says i'm missing a file called "BugTrap.dll" which I cannot find anywhere, not on my quarantine-list, not on my backup-files or in my PC at all. It should be found in quarantine-list, im using avast! Antivir -program with a settings that it wont delete anything without my confirmation, it just sends them to it's quarantine-list and the file isn't in there so it suggests that the file itself were missing at the start.
So now I don't know what to do at all because if the file is missing completely then re-installing the CrossFire wouldn't help at all, right?
