That's primarily Manhattan. Go to Queens, BK, BX, SI, or LI (even though LI isn't part of NYC).
LI has some very nice places, such as the Hamptons and one of the worlds best places to fish, Montuak. That's an idea! Go on a fishing trip. -
Manhattan is sh*t. Jamaica, Queens and BK is where it's at boi. All the crazy sh*t happens in those 2 places.

1. Lol, gotta love them old Russian fishers. Some of the coolest and most interesting people i have ever met. Some were in the Russian mob. Lol
2. I would only visit Mid-Manhattan for fun. The rest of NYC can smd. (If i were a tourist) -
