WCG - What a Blast! Congrats to Hammertime for finishing in Second!
The WCG is over and our combatants have returned home!
Both teams had to swallow some bitter pills during this competition. vVv Lifeline finished in 4th place behind ruLegends after what could only be described as a "second half meltdown" against both Team USA and the Russians.
Hammertime meanwhile thrived on the pressure taking their rookie season to cinderella heights by beating Canada and heading to the finals to face everyone's rivals and who are considered the team to beat, Team China.
The match however was short lived as China showed their true skill with a dominating performance to win the WCG 2011 Cross Fire final!
Finishing in Second is always hard to take, but it is nothing to laugh at. Hammertime proved their worth and their skill and the fact that they deserved to stand on the Podium at the end of the competition and taking home some winnings!
But both Team Canada and Team USA are still looking up and to the future as both teams want to get back to the big stage and get their chance to show they deserve to be considered the Best Cross Fire Team!
The WCG 2011 Cross Fire Grand Final showed that competitive play is still strong in all versions of CF and that our Version has some of the best players in the world!
We are looking forward to some of the news of new leagues and LANs and qualifying tournaments happening right on our servers throughout the next year and we hope to see both Lifeline and Hammertime make it to next years WCG in China!
Congrats to Hammertime for finishing second and the highest placing for a team at a major competition from our version of CF! And to Lifeline for wearing their hearts on their sleeves and fighting hard throughout the entire week!
We'll have more reports and pictures soon so keep watching for all the post WCG recap!

How does one have a lan on your servers?
"LANs and qualifying tournaments happening right on our servers"
Doesnt playing a LAN on the servers kinda defeat the point?
Silly gooses.
Think about it for second.
Get it yet? (If they weren't mis-speaking, ofc.) -
