The world cyber games [WCG] is an annual electronic sports event, for more information, please look at their Wikipedia page by clicking here. You will note that it is an annual event, which is most likely one of the biggest events hosted in the world pertaining to eSports. -

Hi there.. WCG doesn't work on seasons, WCG is a yearly event similar to a worlds event in sports or the olympics...WCG works on games voted in, based on what the people want to watch and what the mass wants to play or potentially compete in...
in order for Crossfire to be back for WCG 2012.. the game must be voted in, to do so you can vote here:

No, they won't be going "bankrupt". I just don't see Samsung backing WCG up for much longer, and we all know that WCG is backed financially by Samsung. Why do you think there was a prize cut in WCG 2010 (look at the numbers compared to previous years) I'm also certain this is the last year of WC3 in WCG (huge publicity cut right there) and unless WCG starts getting more international exposure, and gaming starts being taken more seriously, I'm having a hard time believing WCG will remain intact two years from now.

well I know of a prize cut in CS but i thought that was just CS because its getting older.. didn't see what the prizes were for SC2
