How to tell if someone is using aimbot/ hack etc
Evening all new to crossfire (well i was new a few weeks ago...)and wondering how do you spot some1 using an aimbot or if there hacking? i mean some ppl have skill myself im just lucky but what about others any help would be appreciated i dont want to accuse some1 of cheating and find out there just good:P

A Chammer will look at people through the walls then shoot coming around corner.
A Aimbotter will most likely "360" while running and if not 360 just look at his kills in the upper right corner and see if they are all HS -
Well there are a lot of hacks and some of their names will show what's going on, but anyways if they are aimbotting they will spin and lock on to their target and by spin I mean a full 360. If they are chamming which is probably most common in crossfire you will see them looking thru walls, pre-fireing, shooting when they didn't see you through doors and such.

the funniest one was nuke hack lol some1 was serious they said i used it...
so ppl with high rank dont hack much however there are sum LT who hack but ppl say they just good so they get away with it... -
na, man. I don't hack, and I'm almost a leutenant (master sergeant 4), but I get kicked all the time in Ghost Mode (not every time, but a lot). I understand what you mean, but QQers don't care about rank/experience (although that is how I usually judge GR in ghost mode. as if a Private or Corporal knows all the ghost spots. plus, the low ranks are the ones that do the 'look directly at u from other side of a room when ur still, kinda thing.). If ur constantly killing them, they consider you hacking. simple as that. there's no science to it at all. some of them think u prolly have no ears/eyes and that they are the best at ghost mode/FPS in general. Well pretty much according to these people anyone that can click a mouse button hacks. But if you can actually admit people are better then you here is how you tell if they are hacking
1. If they like to stare a walls and know when people are around the corner. Not to be confused with pre-fire, I pre-fire places where people normally come but I apparently hack sometimes because I can use common sense. Also just because someone gets a crazy kill on you doesn't give you the right to scream hack... Sound is a big part of this game and most people don't know how to use it
2.Aimbots are easy to tell... if they 360 all the time and their actions are jerky. NEVER accuse people of hacking because they can get head shots.... That is the stupidest reason I have heard to date. Getting 70-90% head shots a game is normal for most users. -

Most of the cheats I used to encounter were in Clans
Lately tho the cheats use new accounts they made either to protect a good acc or
beacuse they got banned ( quite rightly)
I was told to join a Clan to avoid cheats and play other Clans
The amount of cheats in clans has not changed its just that they only cheat in Pub/Pug
very rarely in Clan matches. -

I see the feet shuffle alot and the cheat is able to kill you even when not pointing at you. -
One last thing
Despite what you see or think you see in game...
If you ever feel a payer is cheating just save the re-play.
Watch it from all angles and then make a decision as to whether or not to report.
Don't just cry HACK in game because you could be wrong.
If your'e in a big game these days there will be something that will give you cause...
Just use common sense (if you can find some its not as common as the name suggests) -
If you do a google search for crossfire ha.cks you can see how they play. I watched the chams and found a pretty good method to "counter" the chams. this doesnt work on players with a great skill level already but works well on the newer influx of hero wannabes....
Oh and im not sure about all maps, i mainly play TD train,egypt some fortress, not a big fan of eagle and GM matches...I havent gotten that good yet to not b frustrated there.
anyway,,, KEEP MOVING!!! ie:
I developed "patterns" on each board that kinda work well. ( trial and error ) and this one by coincidence:
on trainmap: if you stand between the train and your cargo box by home base at beggining of ramp, run east to west back and forth looking for targets coming under train tunnel, then running same direction check any coming from sides of train, running back the other way check under train again of course, continuing run to other side to check for any coming from other side of train, Continue this pattern and all the while taking glances at high right and left tunnel perches for enemy there as well. Although it is only a basic run and gun method, I found out that it drives the chammers nuts! lol, Apparently they stay behind the walls and have to keep changing direction to "surprise you" coming through one of the ways and you never get there! lol.
Part 2: as you come through sides of trains try to be aware of as many spots as you can. nothing wrong with jumping and firing at a spot where campers usually are! remember these spots! Jump-turn-shoot 2-3 shot burst, by that time you will either see them there or not, only wasting 3 bullets in that direction. If no one there IMMEDIATELY turn to opposite corner or another sweet hiding spot or heavily traveled path.. be prepared, someone is waiting to fire on you somewhere, reaction and reflexes play a big part.
Part 3: find a partner, combine these methods while working with another, draw out the opponent and try make a quick evade while your partner from close by can line up some shots to help you.
Part 4:when running to an open spot from bhind cover like boxes, cargo, train etc, sometimes stop right before you get to the end of cover, alot of chams will fire before you get into open. This could giv you a clue that someone is watching you through walls.
all of this doesnt work all the time against all of course, but it is now funny watching replays of noobs chams ( obvious ones too ) trying to clock you and not being able to bust a move, getting killed and yelling hack@! rofl! -

and if you find a room full of hackers that admit it play along and take the butt whooping and dont say im saving replay or im recording just do it cause they will kick you if you annouce it. also not everyone in clans hack .:lunaticz:. is a completely hack free clan and if you guys think one of my players are pm me. we have only had 2 and they were kicked out quick. also in ghost i pre shoot every corner before i make the turn thats how you get good scores.

i dont think that people in clans always hack, i often get accused of hacking because i shoot ghosts when they dont move, the reason for this is that i have an expensive pair of high quality headphones and i can hear ghosts 20m away. most people who do have headphones will say so its hard to tell if they hack. you can tell if someone hacks because they will look directly at a ghost and shoot straight at the head. with my headphones i can tell roughly where a ghost is but i cannot shoot them in the head without missing. that is another point - an aimbotter will not miss, i shoot the area until the crosshair flashes red and blood appears than i will carry on shooting but i will not usually hit them straight away.

The fun times are when theres a open gm and the score is 12-3 Blacklist, and 3 guys from the same clan all Join on GR and pwn the whole room and end up winning 12-13 Global Risk. Lol our clan we do that all the time. It's pretty hilarious what kind of names we get called, especially when we come in like that and become the top 3 in the room with ace and mvp LOL
Also. Um how would you 'measure" distance on a video game on your computer monitor? Unless there is a measuring system, unlike the people that are on your team where you can see the distance by their name -
70% of kills are headshots?!!! really icely..?? yours is around 50% and that is high for most players. i think bruce is around 50% also... i only got around a 31% and get accused of aimbotting often. i can only imagine what its like with over a 50%.
Any ways.. back on topic. Chammers/wallers are easy to spot in replays if they suck at hiding it. (if their useing it to begin with they pretty much suck at life so u can almost count on this)
In game u can spot chammers by their tendency to fire their weapons before they have cleared a corner as they come at you. (if u here gun shots and see partical effects from bullet strikes at the corner of a wall before u see any body) Sniper chammers are the most annoying and easyist to spot. they will stand behind a corner, scope in and follow the other players until they step out from corner and immidiatly fire.
Aimbotters i have only seen 2 in game. yes, only 2. saw one guy 360ing and another admitted he was aimbotting and aside from his ability to headshot me thru crates i could not tell...
KEY here is, dont listen to noobs saying, "if they have alot of headshots they hack" ive gone 10 kills into elemination matches with all headshots, people who aim for head can get lucky and get a bunch in a row. and just cause u run around a corner and get headshoted
right of the bat does not mean they chamm... some people have quick response time. mines under .19 secs and i aim for head when i can.
NEVER accuse a hacker (unless they are speeding or doing something obvious) after one kill.... SERIOUSLY... cant tell u how many times i hop in a game and get flamed by some noob cause he can't fathom how i headshotted him from across the spawns in crossroads with a AUG 3 secs into the round. -
i saw an aimbotter on youtube a while back and it actually aimed on the upper part of the chest as to not be such an obvious hack. so this video goes for like 5 minutes of td matches an its obvious he cant aim that good an doesnt have chams because its fraps or w/e he used to record it. but he follows ppl thru walls and shoots then soon as they pop out in the chest an most guns r 3-5 bullet kills in the upper chest so all he does is double burst at most an gets kills. its alot less obvious then gold headshot everytime. also from the video it didnt look like he was 360 just quick-switching from person to person.
