I think z8games should remove breath down.
Thats due to the out of sync breath for Ghosts. When they move, its not properly lined up. Bunnyhoppers can abuse this the most since it is even more so.
Lagger movement also doesn't help things in that regard.
The shooting them however is due to the reg, has nothing to do with BD. -

Not To Mention The Bullet Reg System ( Honestly , 10 Xm104 Adv Shots Into A Ghost With The Same Ping , And No Damage?) -
I'd like CF to fix the sound issues in GM over adding more options.
50% of my GM games have at least 1 ghost whose breath is massively out of sync.
Seems to happen when a ghost B hops, their Breath stays where they started the B hop and doesn't update intill they stop B hopping.
B down doesn't need to be removed, It takes a LOT of skill to beat a PinPointer when one doesn't have B Down. (The Devs also need to make up their minds on how smoke works with ghost, seems to change with every patch) -

The ghost need to be standing with in a certain radius from the smoke and the viewer watching from a certain angle. The Radius and angle change depending on one another.
Really annoying, Its easier to see GR in smoke right now then ghost. -

I liked when it showed a ghost anywhere in or on the other side of smoke when they were moving, I could just throw some smoke down in metro on one side and stand in it. After that I take out a sniper and snipe any ghost stupid enough to move without bhopping xD
But now I can't do that -

Yeah that was fun. Used to through Smoke at the GR spawn in Lab at 2:00 and camp at B waiting for a ghost to go infront of it. Got called hacker a lot then. -
Whatever they do, I wish they would be consistent. I think most people could get used to pinpointing the ghosts, even with breath down, if the breath stayed the same from patch to patch.
I have no idea if they are changing it on purpose or if it is happening accidentally but consistency would be nice! -

Why not have it dynamic.
Round 1 No breath down then if Gr wins breath down 10% or if Bl wins Breath up 10%.
No breath down is the max so if Bl wins the first match it cn't go higher than 100% or possibly 110%.
Dynamic and in game adaption would regulate the difficulty of the game if executed right.
And possibly have a system where if you fire more than 50% of your shots fail to hit a ghost the damage you do to a ghost goes down. -
Lets not forget about the ever popular Breath glitch/hack that makes the whole room fill with ghost breath equally
I get that from time to time.
Its not a hack, its just that the sound glitches and extends the ghost breath to about 75M and keeps it at full strength in till one passes the limit at which point it stops and everything goes to normal. But since most GM maps are small, its hard to get that distance, especially if the most is in the middle of the map.
Another way to stop it is to kill the ghost that your sound glitched so it stops. -

This has nothing to do with GR!
Being able to disable the effects of BD as GR would remove the point of BD.
People buy BD in order to stand a chance against a pro GR GM player. If the Gr can simply disable it they would always keep it disabled. -

BL should be able to enable/disable THEIR breath down if they have it.....or you could just learn to PP -

Well BD is balanced depending on the weapon as I noted before. BD isn't broken, just the items its combo'd with.
And no, BD =/= silencer. a silencer helps everyone else, not you. if a person is going around with an m60, the entire team could have silencers and your ears will still be bleeding if he's near you.
A ghost with BD helps him and his team. ghosts have no issues with such things. they don't get flashed, smoked, naded or deafened by teammates. at the very most, they get blocked from lack of coordination. -

Been playin since Open Beta, BL only since i'm brazilian and, well, i'll just get tanked if I play GR. Anyway, a real >Decent< pinpointer have no problem pinpointing a ghost with BD. I could list you at least 5 names in 10 seconds of real decent pinpointers i've met until now, and much more if I had more time. BD makes it challenging, as random said, otherwise you should just expect to get farmed hard.

This suggestion is for BL ONLY!!!
^Big enough for you to see it?
Example:
You are in a GM (Black List no breath down) and you own, then a good pinpointer joins and keep killing you.
Then you (Black List) could be able to enable breath down (if you have it) (while being IN-GAME) to have a better chance to kill the pro PPer.
Am I Clear enough?
