WCG Brackets

They shouldn't be going to Korea. Waste of plane tickets to be honest. Put me and Treni on the next flight to Korea to play in WCG and we would probably end up disregarding the entire tournament and partying with some Asian party animals in upscale night clubs in Seoul while everyone sits in front of a computer practicing for a virtual tournament (we would still end up finishing top spot)

Dragon AB returns again for another easy victory!imo China plays this game for a living so i'd think they'd win this one. but lan is much diff so anything could happen i guess~
also the viets seem pretty good.. sponsored by kingston and **** l0l
That's not the same Dragon AB. They split up last spring. It's only two of the same players. They began 3 new teams; DJAB = one of them.
. . . . .
I think the brackets are really well assembled. Although, I think B is the stronger of the two. A has one major obstacle, and that's the experience of DJAB. Group B has some very nice talent in Japan, Philippines, and that Russian team has some pretty good reviews on them following their run for WCG. They're an old CS team converted, with I believe it was 4 yrs experience playing together.
As far as those asking about the casts; They'll be in the middle of the night again with two streams in English on US WCG site. Including mirrors on the main WCG page. -
I'll give HRG the benefit of the doubt vs PH. Garyx from FGW (3rd place WEM) is actually here in the states and we've been talking about this upcoming WCG. He mentioned he's scared for MOTV as they are subpar. That's good news for you HRG--just don't let the scene overwhelm you guys. GL HF!

Personally, it is kinda ashamed that the UK has servers but any UK players couldn't even get a chance to get qualified in their servers.
Back to the point, there are numerous lan centres in China, Vietnam, and Korea, which means that those nations' teams have so many lan experiences. However, the korean version of CF has never been active and competitive so I doubt they will perform outstandingly. Therefore, I'd go for chinese team as the first place, and vietnamese as the second like the previous WEM matches. -

*whistles, looks around*
you make it sound like playing video games in an undeveloped country while staying in the same hotel room as 4 other guys is something to boast about.
*checks watch, realizes he has an important business meeting to attend* -

If people play the game for a living obviously they're going to be putting way more time in practicing there strats/shots/ect,
You guys still go to school/work then get your practice in, They play most likely 10-14 hours a DAY.
