AUG, whats it good for, and whats its downside?

exactly what the title says, tell me what u think of the AUG.

its good for long range shooting, like backing up your team from behind, not the best rusher but the first few shots are in the same place zoomed in

true its good for ghost to, especially if u have bad eye sight, and u think u seen 1 running away but weren't sure, just scope in and u can see him alot clearer plus easier to get a hs . i do it all the time in lab, when they run by the water to get to the underground tunnel.

well i got a aug camo and i use it mostly in monaco beacuse of its accuracy
so i use it like a sniper rifle so from our base to there base and its very effective
but the thing is that u should move from ur original area where u killed him so it will be harder for them to find u as in them zooming out and looking for u
and most host kick me for using it lol so be cairful

its a nice gun to scope and then shot and its also kinda in adv verson aswel so its good gun

Scope is hard to use. I have sensitivity at 30-35 and have a hard time aiming fast.

Reload time is worst of rifles. Extreemly slow reload.

I hated this gun for a long time but now I pick it up a lot in elimination matches and as my game as improved the gun has grown on me.

your right, it does have a really long reload, ghost its kinda annoying especially if u spray when like 5 ghosts are chasing u but a tip is try to like dodge them, kinda like if ur a kid jumpin across a trampaline from side to side, do someting like that when ur running from them lol. its hard to explain tho, so be nice! Oh and another tip, shoot 2-3 bullets then side step, shoot, step, shoot, step instant hs oh ingame msg me we should play on halloween K1APwnage

Its a pretty decent gun for one shotting. However, its power is mediocre.

Personally, I'd go with an M4. If anything, perhaps a QBZ

The Steyr AUG A1 is for med-long range fighting. It's halfway in between a rifle and a sniper. It's very accurate, doesn't have much recoil, has a good rate of fire and has a scope attached. However, the problem with this gun is that it is weak and has a slow reload, making it bad in close range. The best way to use this gun is to crouch fire over long distances, and is good on maps like Monaco and Fortress if you sit behind your team whilst they rush the enemy and you give them covering fire. It's more of a defensive weapon than an offensive weapon too due to the horrible close range abilities.

very nice gun.really.i own it and with it^^.its a perfect long range headshot machine. but without scope,it has fast firing rate and its very very accurate. i love it.
