  • oh yea, there is one i forgot to mention: ZM host bug.

    what this bug is ( i dont know if it is one ) is if one were to be the host, he will have a chance of 100% of being sniped

    however, i dont know if this is an official bug since ZM release or it was deliberatly set

    •Support Center Redirect Page Misspelling: "If you have any other questions, please fill free to contact us using the web form again." (Should be ", please feel free")
    •In-game Character Purchase Misspelling: After buying the SWAT or OMOH character and seeing the message that asks you to replace your current character with the purchased one and to outfit it with the same set-up, there is a misspelling in the word "change."
    •Mutation Mode/Hero Mode Glitch: If you join a game and barely make it in as a new round is starting then you won't see the full countdown or the voice counting down the last 10 seconds before the initial mutation. (There are three scenarios of what happens when you join: either you join at the start, you join during a round, or you barely make it as a new round starts up. And that last one as stated previously is glitched with the countdown.
    •When joining Prison TDM (Sniper Mode) on the SAS character with a setup of AWM, Knife, and standard grenade on Bag 1 and M16, Knife, and standard grenade on Bag 2 (Inaccessible in-game) then you either see a knife in the lower right hand corner of the screen when you have the AWM in hand or you see nothing at all. (It is not known if this happens to any other character. This will change to normal by switching from AWM to knife and back again)
    •False "Hack Tool Detected" Errors
    •Mutation Mode/Hero Mode - Mall Map Replay: The metal door that can be opened and closed does not show the animation while watching the replay.

    The SAS error is new to me - nice to know. But I don't play MM/ZM and I won't listen all spelling mistakes ;)

    I have the SAS error too but I use DSR. I usually just cycle through my weapons and it goes to normal.
  • You forgot that after joining a game you spawn with a shotgun every time. That was the reason why we got that old ass bug where we had a shotgun on our hands on top of our wep.

  • Don't know what causes it, but: recently I spawned almost on top of BL spawn in Ankara as GR. Then at round end my screen turned black and I had to leave. Happened only for that game.

    On port near A the twin boxes near the ladder have no box-shot registration when you fire from long A towards the ladder. You also can see their name through the box if you aim correctly.

    Bomb site A on Castle is very hard to walk on. A tile should not make my MERCENARY forget how to walk on uneven ground.

    Staircase leading to GR spawn on Eagle Eye - you cannot go up it half the time.

    You can instantly reload your pistol, I will only tell mods how this works if they PM me, for the masses need not know how. Primary gun instant-reload bug still occasionally happens. (Only if BL) Again, not telling how. Yes, anybody can do these, no cheats needed. Well, GR cannot do the primary one, silly GRs.

    First shot taken while scoped in with awm jumping and crouching in mid-air is dead-center. Only works for first shot at start of each round. Never fails.

    Double jumping on boxes too often causes errors. This one is a bug in itself so I am not surprised errors occur.

    Depending on what angle you throw a grenade at you can cause it to catch corners and hang there until it explodes. (happens most often on horizontal edges, only rarely on vertical ones.)

    Corner leading down to GR spawn on factory (left corner of doorway) can stop you from moving forward. I guess it feels lonely.

    when I hold a knife in my bag 2 The left-lower part of my arm is missing. Only works for bag 2. Just me?

    A List like the OP should really note that these are based on things he's experienced.

    A proper bug report / submission and confirmation is when the bug is 100% reproducible.

    For example lets break just one of the original listed:
    "Client error when you touch another player, jump on a fence or a box."
    I just went in game and did all combinations of running into a player and jumping on boxes and fences and many other objects. I have not seen a client error.

    Do you have a details of when you experience this bug? What Map? What Mode? What were you doing when you experienced the client error (exact steps). Can you reproduce the bug? What is your system spec? Where are you connecting from? Do you specifically experience any patterns with this client error? (for example, you never get the error in the morning but always at night)

    Do you have a screenshot of the client error? Was there an error code that was associated with the client error? Did the game kick you to the lobby or close entirely? Were you running any programs outside of this.


    Every one of the above questions has relevance for your stated issue. The reason being is because we cannot reproduce it. Which states the basic logic: You are doing something differently than we are to consistently reproduce this bug.

    If it's sporadic (doesn't happen often or has no predictability) then it begs the basic logic: What is it about your setup that is different from ours that produces this bug.


    I am not going to say that there are no bugs. But I will say that your list is NOT being experienced by the majority of the people who play the game. Bugs also get corrected in every patch, whether they are crash problems or text issues or whatever it may be.


    We definitely want to make sure to keep track of reproducible bugs, text problems which can be fixed; website issues and support problems which are also all fixable. But please understand that posting "This is a bug, fix it." Doesn't do anyone any good, it's virtually impossible to work in that kind of capacity for the size team we have; we have to rely on you to help us through these kinds of bugs with proper information.

    Oh, well, maybe you got me wrong. This isn't a bug report thread. This is more a thread where some players exchange their experiences and maybe have one or two laughs about it. That's why I put it in Barracks. But every bug in this list appeared more than one time and to more than one player had this problem.

    If this thread was directed at the developers, I would have give much more information.
    For example: The client error bug.

    It is the same error message like when you enter a wall. I don't have a screenshot though.

    Touching other players rarely disconnects you but I think in ~3% of all cases it happens. I think you have a higher chance to disconnect when the other person is moving towards you while you jump on his neck in a ~45° angle (this happens on the sewers when you jump onto the crossing ways in the middle). Although I did it only 3 times yet I disconnected 2 times this way.

    The fence: A large amount of ghostmode players know that you may not jump on the fence in Laboratory. 7ba6eb269ee4cca834011c5bf96f20df.jpg You see the fence on this picture. (PLEASE ignore the error message. The servers had problems on this day.) So when you jump on it and move on it you will very likely disconnect. It is the only fence with this problem.

    Boxes: You know how you normally to glitch into a box? Okay, there is a much harder way to glitch into them. You have to jump on it in a certain angle but I don't know the exact number. When you accidently do it you instantly glitch into the box. Result: The game disconnects you with the mentioned error message. I can't recall certain boxes right now though :(

    Most people using m16 in Zombie Hacks hacks.... I think the guy there is using weapon hack.

    This is more than likely on purpose. To prevent abuse cases. And if not it's likely because when you push through a wall or box or object or other player the game returns some sort of negative or infinite value and closes the game.

    The point is the bug is not the game crashing, the bug is accidentally being able to push through objects. In that case we need to know where it is in the game, what you were doing, how many characters involved etc. Screenshots etc.

    Well generally it is any sort of "through entity" movement. I'm only used to working with the HL engine but in terms from that... if the player model overlaps with a wall or a box you disconnect. I'm sure you were already aware of the push glitch where two player models can "force" one another through an existing object.

    The problem is that the game is now crashing you if your player model goes through pretty much anything. Unless it was done "fast" (I'm sure you've seen Denxi's speed jump)

    The problem is most of the time in a normal game you don't get shoved through a wall you are just slightly pressed into it, but if you stay pressed into it too long you will disconnect. Obviously to prevent glitching but it is annoying because it happens on all of the walls, boxes and the reason so many people seem to be dcing now is because you disconnect if you are getting pushed into another player model.

    I spam quick switch and it never happens, that sounds more like the sniper ammo glitch. If you switch from a sniper bag to a rifle bag (assuming your sniper bag is the first bag) your gun will get your snipers ammo.
