LMAO, I get about 200ish FPS. I can't stand ladders, I just run around the map or I turn off overclocking just before I hit a ladder so my FPS drops until I get up :P
I got a designated button for it :P -
For the human eye 40 fps should already be enough. Only when you're planning on making movies with slow motion you need something like 120, and if want super slow mo, 200is enough... And as said before , if your screen only can display 60fps , it's enough for you and you wont notice any difference.

Wow
Freaking lucky...I don't have money for some advanced computer. At highest graphics it has only 40 fps and like 5 when recording. I keep mine in average so I get like 100 fps. When I record with fraps I get like 45 fps which i guess is ok. I have a AMD Athlon II 645 Quad Core Processer with ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics...not bad though :P -
Human eye can't tell the difference of anything over 70 FPS, the game does look smoother with higher fps for sure though.
Well the human eye is complicated :P
If you tried focusin on something going right past your face at 1000 MPH the chances are you wouldnt even have a clue what it was... but if you are watching that same object going the same speed from miles away (taking its big enough to see lol) You would be able to tell what it is easily ... -
Btw you don't have 8 cores. I am pretty sure about that' wrote:[KarlThePro;2599648']Hey I was wondering why the Crossfires frames per second got capped down to 200 fps..
My pc is 12gb ram and core i7 processor with 8 cores running @ 3.40 ghz, my fps would be well over 600 fps if crossfire didn't cap it
is there a way to uncap it? Someone told me he modded a file in the crossfire folder which made his fps is 600 fps because he has alienware.

Because no retail CPU has 8 physical cores.
He probably has 4 physical cores, and at most, 4 logistical cores.
The problem is with TurboBoost CPUs, is that the bios can often read 8 cores, rather than the standard 6. -

Retail as in purchasable to the open market, silly.PulseFerret wrote: »I remember at work, the Server processor had 20 something odd cores, but at a low frequency....
Servers generally consist of 16 core CPUs or Xeons, unfortunately there aren't mainstream boards for those sockets.
