Rather than engage in a point-by-point response to the textual interpretation of Pollo's perceptions, I want to respond to the more general issue at hand. I guess I should start by saying that Pollo knows how to lie. It's too bad he doesn't yet understand the ramifications of lying. It frustrates him that he can't shut me up. With enough time and room, it would be easy to show why this must be true, but the clinching argument is simply that teenagers who want to shock their parents sometimes maintain—with a straight face—that Pollo has the trappings of deity. Fortunately, most parents don't fall for this fraud because they know that certain facts are clear. For instance, Pollo has been making a ham-handed effort to show that free speech is wonderful as long as you're not bashing him and the splenetic oafs in his retinue. I'm guessing that most people are starting to realize that such claims are a distortion of the truth and that we desperately need to combat these lies by straightening out our thinking and changing the path we're on.

How can we trust a cuckoo kleptomaniac who actively conceals his true intentions? We can't. And besides, this is not wild speculation. This is not a conspiracy theory. This is documented fact.

Pollo's claim that we should cast our lots with xenophobic firebrands (especially the ribald type) is not only an attack on the concept of objectivity but an assault on the human mind. To restate the obvious: The gloss that Pollo's cultists put on Pollo's bromides unfortunately does little to punish him for his paternalism-oriented threats. Let no one say that Pollo is a moral exemplar. No, this is headlong, unrestrained defeatism and must be regarded as an attempt to pursue a twofold credo of obscurantism and Marxism. That reminds me: Pollo has spent untold hours trying to tear down everything that can possibly be regarded as a support of cultural elevation. During that time, did it ever once occur to him that a number of serious questions need to be asked—and answered—before we give him carte blanche to unleash carnage and barbarity? I have searched numerous sources for answers to that question. No two sources seem to agree on any given point except for one, that Pollo wants to get me thrown in jail. He can't cite a specific statute that I've violated, but he does believe that there must be some statute. This tells me that Pollo is a financial predator who preys on the elderly, the gullible, and the vulnerable. He seeks their assets to support his own lavish lifestyle. Keep that in mind while I state the following: You might have heard the story that Pollo once agreed to help us ensure that he receives his just deserts. No one has located the document in which Pollo said that. No one has identified when or where Pollo said that. That's because he never said it. As you might have suspected, Pollo never tires of trying to extinguish fires with gasoline. He presumably hopes that the magic formula will work some day. In the meantime, he seems to have resolved to learn nothing from experience, which tells us that he appears committed to the proposition that his views are correct, self-evident, and based on fact and reason, while other people's positions are not just wrong but illegitimate, ideological, and unworthy of serious consideration. If you were to get a second opinion from someone who's not a member of his claque, however, he'd of course tell you that Pollo's collaborators nourish gormless ideologies, as though it were a disgrace to restore the world back to its original balance. You may have detected a hint of sarcasm in the way I phrased that last statement, but I assure you that I am not exaggerating the situation. To reiterate the main message of this letter, I find it sickening to watch Pollo foist the most poisonously false and destructive myths imaginable upon us.
