Missing shell dll cshell.dll

I get thie error message every time I try to start the game client. I didn't use to receive this message until about 25 minutes, do you know how to solve my problem?

I hope you don't hack. This is a common problem in other games; the error pops up when, for whatever reason, people use hacks.

Try reinstalling the game, then try disabling your antivirus TEMPORARILY - turn it back on once you're done playing. Alternatively, it could be that an x-trap file is corrupt; uninstall x-trap, go to the x-trap website, reinstall x-trap. See how those work for you.

i have the same problem and i dont hack i ran a disk cleanup and ever since yesterday when i ran it my crossfire has stopped working i wonder if that has anything to do with it

It's a conflict with AVG.

do you know how long until i will be able to play im worried as ive got 25k zp atm lol and i wanted to get the zp summer crates before they run out any advice on getting the game working faster or do i just need to wait a few days?thanks for the help

If you add the CF Folders to your exceptions list in AVG you should be able to play no problem.

We are in contact with AVG at the moment and should have this fixed asap.

ive added it to my exceptions list here is print screen but its still not working http://prntscr.com/dxpog i still get the same error have i done something wrong?

ok so i had the same problem. quick fix is disable avg from the icon bottom right. just for 5 min is all you need and game will start. hope this helps

i also need some security help as i registered with a fake email a few years back i was wondering if there was anyway i could register a new email as im worried.i know my security question.
