Make sure, Crossfire.exe, cf_patcher.exe, gameguard.des and gameguard.mon got full access through your firewall and turn your Antivirus program off for the Installation.
If these Error still excists after the Installation, add a Exception for the above named files into your Antivirus program. -

They do, I even tried disabling all my firewall/anti-virus programs, im gonna try i clean re-install and see what happens. I did wait a little bit on it but cf_patcher.exe only takes 204k memory, and just sits there, doesn't use the processor at all.
EDIT: Re-installed, still getting the same thing. Is there a place where I can dl manual patches? -

good ideas for cf
hello,i play cf now for about 2 month!! i`m lieut. now and it will be boring with every game!!! My idea is new maps for TD-S&D-GM-Elimination........!!!! New weapons,or create own weapons,like in other games "operation 7" or others!!! this will be cool. My other idea is,to resell used weapon or won weapon,i know a lot of friends,they have double weapons and doesn`t need it!!! Another idea is a patch like in "return to castle wolfenstein" which disconecct every ?????? hacker!!!!! I hope this will be no problem for you!!!!! Please do something,i pay for this game!!!!!! sorry for my english i`m german -

I do have Windows XP Pro. I dowloaded from Z8. The game never ran, no login screen. Only the process "patcher_cf.exe" comes up after hitting "start game" on the launcher. -

I know you installed the game two days ago, but did you download it before 15 days?
If no then i have no answer

It should run and don't get stuck in that stage.
Download direct x if you don't have it. -

Hm, can't remember. I'll try re-downloading and re-installing. I already have direct x. -
Re-downloaded from Z8 mirror 1. Still not working, no error no nothing. Could someone go into their Crossfire file in my programs and open up CrossFireUS configuration settings and copy paste whatever is in there on the forums?(from a working client of course, My has one little line of gibberish, im guessing that this is the file that tells the client where the server is, since i think mine is screwed up, the patcher doesn't know what server to go to get updates, therefore the sitting there and doing nothing.)
EDIT: Could someone also copy and paste what is in their update configuration settings in My Programs under Z8 games and then CrossFire? -
