Just a suggestion
I've never been competitive, but from the looks of it, it looks like people are always having "LFT" threads and talking about how they want to be part of a team, want to make a team, etc.
The reality is however, that this is near impossible considering that everyone in the competitive realm of players (with exception to some notables) are not to say "egoist" but act on a more one man army mentality, in which they want to gain recognition as a player, as opposed to a team.
Considering that, I am merely suggesting that instead of overlooking the "pubstars" why don't you "competitive" people join these "pubstar" teams and teach them how to better themselves. Before you disregard this suggestion, consider that there are two major benefits to doing this (that is if you can actually teach people, and if you maintain an adequate relationship or better relationship with that group of people):
1: Everyone started sh1tty, with the exception of a few beasts who are naturals. By helping people quote on quote get "enlightened" to the competitive arena, they are in a sense indebted to you and will most likely be willing to work with you, because they already have that chemistry.
2: Everyone can learn a thing or two from these pubstar teams even if they are pubstar. Its usually, at minimum, adequate experience because most of these players still want to do good, but haven't found the "strategy" of winning more often, or frankly don't care. That is where you come in, and teach that gap needed to become "competitive".
3: Minor, but could possibly give you players which are exceptional players onto your team. Everyone is always trying to get the current best players, but what is to say that you cant make those players?
Just thought about it, because I've helped alot of students at my high school and community college (even though I will prob never go there) to turn around their lives by promoting/introducing academic progress. One of the students I helped is probably going to become a well payed broker, and another one wants to become an aeronautical engineer. Just food to chew on.

Its like, these people are complaining that this game is dead, and this is why.
No one is willing to open up the circle to the "pubstars" to fill up the dead spaces of the "competitive" community.
Increase the number of potential competitive candidates
???
Save game

Yeah bro I agree with you it would benifit more -
this game is dead, we really never had a decent league, wogl was corrupt, esl AC was a joke, the rest were also a joke, we really need a good league before we can build a good competitive side, we need something to look to before we even consider to bring more people to this competitive side.

Make a team wif me.
OT: Yeah. I think the other way works more though. A good league would attract players from other games and pubstars. -
