guide to get xfire ingame working on vista ploz

i remember this guide always being on suba's forums so can someone post a guide like this again for the nubs

i need it up because i don't know the run address to take me to the .ini i need to go, and i wanna getcrossfire's ingame working and borderlands detected

no i believe there has always been a way but you have to go manually into a .ini and mess with some stuff there, i just don't remember what the .ini was

now all due respect but if you don't know what i just said you're probably not qualified to give me an educated opinion on how vista runs

For a complete list of games that have Xfire in Game disabled in Vista / Windows 7 please see the following sticky thread (it's also accessible through the forums):

Games that are XIG disabled for Vista.

Keep in mind that even if a game doesn't have Xfire in Game support, Xfire should still record the hours on your profile. If it doesn't, let us know!

I have vista and i seem to not have any issues.

Vista does suck...
Window 7 is my favorite but you can't play CrossFire in 32 bit.
