I mostly encounter chinese and English, but it obviously depends on which channels/rooms you play in.
Thinking that Americans were ever a majority in this game is pretty naive, although English as a language probably is spoken by most, they just don't bother.
Would you speak english as a courtesy to people you don't know, instead of speaking your native language with friends who also speak it? -
I'm still chuckling over the thread; Especially on Gods misfortune to be constantly kicked to his 30s ping (see page 7 to get what I mean). Yea there are times where I get kicked for ping, playing too well, not speaking Portuguese, and for having a 1-character name.
It's only a matter of time before I too mature out of this game and back into the real world. But until then, I will continue the small enjoyment that I've come to discover while playing CF, and that is just to play a complete pub without a hacker or a crying nub. Those small instances make it worth my entire CF day.
There is really nothing that people can do to stop this virtual discrimination except to find solace in the midst of nothing. For starters, stop using br and start saying Brazilian. It reminds me too much of people using Jap for Japanese before it received that negative connotation prior to WW2.
And it isn't much to realize that the problem hasnt been different tongues or cultures but really with age. Kids 6-12 (for instance) are playing the SAME game that +18 yr olds are. It doesn't take much to see how strained relationships can become, if you have a younger or older sibling one can relate to this.
I guess I should stop here... and just wait and see. -

The German Member's - 50% Hack 50% Nice people.
English Members - 20% Hack 50% Idiots 30% Nice people.
American People - 10% Hack 90% Lovely People.
This game causes aggrovation (Racism) between each other because its a game where we kill eachother , BR's Lag , GER and TR Hack , and UK QQ.
And american's are just cool people , but i guess thats because there goverment patronises peace to them. -

Along with being kicked for having low ping, I'm also constantly getting kicked because I do well, and all the ****ing brazilians call out "aff hak kika lixo mini ping f11" when there's a speeder on their team with high ping that they choose not to kick.

Anyway......How many times have you got into a game, and someone ask you if you are a BR. And you tell them "No".......... And the next thing you know, you have been kicked.

As for being kicked, so what ? It´s a game, deal with it. I get kicked a lot.

I don´t understand why people get all worked up about it.

You got owned and you resort to "get a life", how typical. -
- I kick anyone who has ping over 300.
- I get kicked for having a "mini-ping". 60-80ms
- I do not speak during games unless it's via whisper. I communicate with my team via radio commands. If I speak, I will be kicked.
- If I get more than 1 headshot in a row, my own team will kick me, even if I am the last one alive/bringing the team back from a loss.
- I have 1 or 2 Br friends in-game, I only kick those who do horrible or are lagging so bad that they slide/teleport.
- Sometimes I don't even have to do anything. Simply joining a game will net me responses such as "lixo (Garbage), fdp, kika gringo, mini-ping racker, etc etc." -
It has always been bro. Instead, english should be the 4th or 5th language. Koreans made this game, chinese/viets are also very prominent as well as the "BRs" of this side of the world.
Koreans, Chinese, Viets all have their own version of the game though. -

Truth was a deluded fool. At least Mercy had the balls to see through the lies and continue the "Great Journey" as an extermination of the human race. But that's another thread another day. Or we can have a PM war over this.

br's are annoying as hell, that's true but some of u are not better than them, they are racist in-game and some of u guys are racist in the forum, and please think about this:
brazil is a big country, just like usa. some of u, americans, don't really need to learn other languages, cuz you got "everything" in america. and it is the same thing to brazilian players, i bet that almost every br player u find in-game never left brazil, never visit other countries, so they don't really need to learn other languages too.

Why would they do that? English is NOT the official language of the US. The US in fact does NOT HAVE AN OFFICIAL LANGUAGE.

I remember back in School. Our history teacher teaching us that the language of the US would either be English or German. It all came down to one mans vote: and he said english.

I don't mind it really, it seems fair that the common language is English as it started out as a British colony. Yea obviously New York was Netherlands as well as Vermont being French. But through the brief time as the 13 colonies, English became the colonial standard. -

But the vote was for what the language all government documentation would be for standardization. German wasn't the only suggestion for it either, it was just the popular second choice. -
Aight when we're quoting the US constitution in a thread that originally started about a video game it's time to step in.
Despite people speaking other languages in game this version is only supported in English in the regions of NA and UK.
As noted in previous threads we have recently acquired rights for South America. At this point we cannot say any more about this. However there will be news on this before the end of the year.
As for racist and sexist comments, and any other general harassment, we do not tolerate them in any language. Feel free to report anyone breaking those rules to our support system (please try to provide as much proof as possible).
Speaking non-English on these forums also does not get anywhere. Our moderating staff tries to remove those posts as best as possible and attempt to explain to foreign users that we only deal in English on these boards.
If you have a problem with the public chat you could always just ignore it.
There's not much more that needs to be said on this particular topic so we'll close it. If you want to discuss the US constitution in a way that doesn't insult or troll people use the OT forums.
