You ever noticed what's written on the kick function? "Idle". With all due respect, as I said before ... We're not morons. Please stop talking to us like we are. Just please man, I respect you, respect me too, don't talk to me like you talk to a 3 years old.
How many on the opposing team kick idlers? You need at least 9 or 10 on a full room to remove it. I bet most of the time as soon as the vote kick comes up, someone is gunning for the base for a free kill. I'm not dumb, I've seen it way too often to not know this stuff. Especially the mentality of the crossfire community. They will take any kills they can get regardless if it affects the other side. -

For me, farming brings no advantages above the other players at all, since one of the best guns is unlocked at the time you've created the account (m4a1) and there are other great options unlocked really early (k-2, AUG, SG556) .-.
and if you really do want to rank up fast, just train, and be good at the game, i think there was a post wich said every kill in the game depending on the gamemode will give you about 5xp, be a baws in TDM, you'll rank up fast enough .-. -

Can't imagine why people dislike farmers so much. Most farmers I've met have big egos with nothing to back it up, and as a resullt are prone to QQing much faster than the rest of the dregs.
Personally, I'd much rather complain about those who do the same in games that aren't farmer rooms. Of course, that would require me to be reckless enough to fight someone with that much skill or hacks. -

oh well, just play the game, if you're a baws, you'll finish things faster, if you do it fast, you'll rank up faster (unless the xp received for time playing will be higher than the equivalent time you'll gain on other games).

I guess I'll take the time to reiterate. Rank is but an image with a few perks and restrictions. Excluding the rank restrictions to guns, making clans + marks, and doing something such as entering a server, rank really does not matter. Even for something such as the rank hats, what is it but additional EXP, which, will give you more ranks.
If you care enough to farm for a rank, that's great. It's your personal choice. It's not like it's illegal to have 16 of your own computers.
Farming is not illegal according to the rules, it's just discouraged. It's not condoned, but it's not going to be a reprimand-able offense. Many factors have been added in order to prevent such [timing out in game, inability to join a stacked team, etc.]
Other versions may want to ban, but this version chooses not to under the basis that you're technically not doing anything wrong.
Now, to get to the touchy stuff. If the high rankers act all high up to you and continually abuse you, and are rude. You have the option to report them for abuse. Not only is this the recommended route, it also takes away their rank, which they may cherish.
Reporting is the best alternative to starting an argument. Don't be the one that starts an argument and gets bit in the butt at the end. If they're harassing you, report them. Easy as that.
LOLOLOL Hi you just made me laugh so hard, farmer hardly abuse people, people abuse me for farming, i cant join a room that hasnt started yet because the host always kicks me (only if im not on there team) also people spam "KICK THE NOOB FARMER" when i have a better score then them, id also like to add that i didnt farm for rank, i farmed for badge. But you know what makes me laugh the most? is when people say i have no life. All i have to say to them its not my fault i have a thing called a job that lets me buy more then 1 computer. 1. I see less idlers getting kicked than those with a 3-3 game score accused of being a hacker. Sorry but from what I see idlers are usually the least kicked of all types.
2. But let's say your on GR, you have an idler. You waste a vote to remove him, then in comes a hacker. Guess what? Your the only man honorable enough to put up a vote, it gets denied. Second try? Oops, its already gone. Tough luck, I suppose. Guess the 2 guys on BL idling as well didn't really help your cause. Also didn't know suddenly idlers > hackers in terms of kickvote now. Geeze, I think Xtraps got it all wrong. OMG its an idler kick him! f11! we're being shot through walls, but that idler needs to go!
3. The board meeting is essentially the place where your a team working with other members to achieve a goal, usually from a business perspective. Your team is relying on you to be there to support and give helpful ideas and present yourself as a strong group and well prepared. If your the guy holding up the CEO because you have the needed presentations they aren't gonna be took happy. Soon they will simply move on and chances are not only will it reflect, but probably get you fired.
All similarities to CF, your team, your time, and your objective. Just a different more logical and relative to RL term. Think of it when they come to you when you return and say 'your not needed, we're moving on' that you've been booted for taking too long.
Anyways, let me put it to you this way, other than wasting a vote to remove this person, what is the difference between being voted off and being autokicked off? Both end up in the same result. -

While reading him I was pretty much reading myself (except for the part where he asked what the conference thing had to do with all that, I often use such example to get a point so I never would've asked what it had to do with gaming).
They focussed on taking a dump when in fact it's more of a problem when you have to pee. In summer you HAVE to drink a lot and thefore have to pee a lot too and you can't pee without needing to pee and the need to pee just pops up at any time, you can't anticipate it and if you're in a SD or GM which has been going on for quite a time and will still last long you have no other choice but to go pee in the middle of the game unless you're one pathetic fat nerd who'd pee on himself. And most of the time when you come back you're kicked and basically lost a fair amount of time (that's subjective, since you actually had the same fun but didn't get xp points which don't actually matter I guess). I think z8games idle kick is 2minutes or 2.30minutes. Peeing takes less than that but you have to count the time to take of your headset, sit up, open doors, access to the toilets (climb stairs sometimes), flush it, wash your hands, dry them (wouldn't want to **** up your mouse or keyboard with wet hands (it's uncomfty to play like that anyway).
[MOD]s or as I'd call them on the european boards "**** suckers" (if your censor system fails to censor this it is in no way my fault) are just sticking with Saidin's statements without thinking for themselves (oh jee, this is why I just wanted to read and not even log in to comment... it's just how I am, I have to strike the staff. And kelathe, ok, we've got it. Peeing or "taking a dump" in the middle of a game isn't a problem, we can just quit (and I've kind of validated that point in my first paragraph although deep inside I want my xp because I'm open minded and have no reason to reject a point which I myself can demonstrate).
Lets say you've won although I totally agree on the fact it's hell of a nuisance and it was better before the auto kick. And people DID get kicked for idling. Oh and why would you guys care if we didn't get kicked (because we informed the other players about our urge to pee or "take a dump" or simply because they press F12 motivated by a free kill) ? It's free kills, isn't that what you guys are defending here? The fact free kills are normal and legit?
BUT, try to explain why there's an EXP limit then if it's not to "**** block" farmers?

Saidin, you should stick with your first thoughts or forget about them. By that I mean EITHER you're against farming OR it's no problem. You can't or atleast shouldn't stand on the fence where you can reach the right side when needed.

You guys always refused although everything points it's a great idea. I'm talking about that because, hold me before I go against the rules by talking about other version's content [that rule is pathetic, it's there to make sure people are the less aware as possible of the better options they have if they want to play CrossFire], I've seen DamageInc's latest video and that AWM and GAtling are 2 more reason for a sponsor ship).

Same with the game, why should WE as players wait on others for their peeing and dumping situations?
Learn to plan beforehand, or on the fly, like getting yourself killed if it's in a mode in anything but TDM.

I'll give you one simple example of a thing that is discouraged but still legal in real life.
Smoking.
There's plenty of warnings on every pack of cigarettes to discourage people from smoking. Still, it's legal, isn't it?
Being discouraged =/= being illegal. We don't encourage farm, but we don't think we should ban someone because the player cares about his rank/think rank = skill. I'll just say pretty much all of you were right and I made mistakes (probably beyond the biggest by the way).
But it taught me stuff and took me away forums, video games and general being a nerd (not geek, nerd, I'm still into coding and all). Now I barely game or post on forums, have a normal life (jeez, I can't believe it myself but I'm bored of gaming easily, play 1 or 2 hours per week and worse of all, I miss school and am hating 24/7 PC holidays 3hours far from friends at my dad's. By missing school I mean friends and the fun we have in class, detention is additionnal fun I guess XD. Don't have anything better to do than mess with friends anyway, but it's true that it's better outside or at one's house than in the detention room XD).
Actually I think the fact I've became normal and am tasting to life has nothing to do with our dear friend petrov but with the fact this year I'm in a normal class (no longer with 33/35 people who study and want to study/work all the time, no lies, you think that doesn't exist well it does. They always do their homework, study all the time, never bunk or talk in class, never throw various objects, don't have bawls to talk to a teacher with as less respect if not more than they do to us... btw, number 34 was a dealer who didn't have his place there and he ended up blending in...).

So, any opinion I have is nulled because I'm a MOD? God forbid I have my own thoughts. That itself is pretty close minded. And I was merely defending the autokicker more than anything else as to its validity than people going 'oh em gee, all its used for is farmers'.
CF isn't the only game that frowns upon idlers or leavers. Some games you get banned for it if it turns into a repeated offense. Strategy RTS games being quite common to loathe such.

I agree with you that playing with people on more equal grounds is a lot more entertaining. Especially those you can relate to. It was nice getting to know people who I ranked with and saw them rank to legitimately. (You'd be surprised how some legit players have gotten accused of farming due to their rank. Usually anything above captain.) Sets a better atmosphere indeed. But even if someone reached Marshall and is playing in the same room as me, its just a picture. If they die as easy as a corporeal fresh from rookie just makes my life easier.
Besides, beyond whatever rank gives you the last boost of GP, leveling up is almost redundant in terms of what you get for it.
I judge players on their skill and personality. Not the numbers on the screen which really amount to nothing in this game overall.
Personally its the aesthetics people seemed to be bothered by. If rank and stats were hidden from other players no one would care or even know. Thats how little a difference it makes.
