Are you positive the "connecting to channel" box is still popping up? It has been working for me with no problems at all since this morning

Yes, I get that problem or if I do join then I get disconnected from the server right after login.

Hmm that is strange... because I was having that problem all weekend like everyone else.. but it fixed this morning for me... maybe wait a day and see what happens?
