Socket error help please!

Everytime i try to play half way through the HGC load it shuts down and says "Socket Error" and has these numbers. Ive done everything ive reinstalled, redownloaded, disabled upnp, ran a registry cleaner, and the same thing still happens. I really want to play i havent gotten to try the new zombie mode yet or anything because of this. Also i want to add that i just tried downloading cf from 3 different mirrors and they were all malware my antivirus alerted me and removed them automatically, what is up with that?

Try replacing the updated files and placing it in your crossfire folder. It might work , btw just search up talonblaze and find his thread on the halloween patch error and the solution to solve the problems that are causing errors from playing crossfire. It should work, cause i had an error which was called "File is changed crossfire.exe" and i tried many solutions but it all failed and then i was deciding to re-download crossfire but then i found a thread on fixing errors after the halloween patch which [MOD]Talonblaze posted. It helped me out alot and now I can play crossfire again!
