Course they do. But I have a paper to write on internet phenomenon (specifically this one) and that's why I'm on an all out hype.Mhmm, I just know when to stop?... Sometimes things do get old. Just sayin' rite?
When the paper is done, i'll lower the ponies by 20%. -
Yay, it's almost as overused and as forced and old as the over 9000 meme which was made at least 100 years ago ... [/sarcasm]Aimoperative wrote: »Course they do. But I have a paper to write on internet phenomenon (specifically this one) and that's why I'm on an all out hype.

Don't see how it's forced since half of the internet sees it as funny, and the other half hates it.
In any case, it got started 2010, and if you want to blame anybody, blame Cartoonbrew. They wrote the very first article on it that made it's way to 4chan. which started the meme. -
Aww, why so serious, I though posting old memes was fun for you? =/ ... We shall meet again and post some really old memes sometimes, amirite. 'cus, it's not like we're going to be in 2012 soon amirite. 2 years old meme is just too young, we so need to try to find a meme dating from fidonet!!11oneeleventyhundredthousandselevenAimoperative wrote: »Fun is laughing at the references.

This isnt a phenomenon, this is a bunch of hipsters wanting to be cool so they started a group revolving around the love of MLP. The only ones that support said group are either hipsters themselves or people with such a low amount of self-esteem that they would do anything to fit in.Aimoperative wrote: »Course they do. Well it's either well publicized or it's very popular, and as of now, it is both.SooperPickle wrote: »This isnt a phenomenon, this is a bunch of hipsters wanting to be cool so they started a group revolving around the love of MLP. So the "phenomenon" i'm writing about is what attracts a massive fanbase.
3 years ago, people into this would have been called who knows what just because, now, people are defending it. -
