Screen Problem

I have a screen problem .
On selecting full screen , there are 2 black sides (to the right and the left of the screen) .
I tried to exit the game so that it might work but the black sides were present .
I tried every resolution but nothing worked .
I want to know how I can get rid of these 2 black sides .
