Ever wondered which AK-47 is the best? Well wonder no more. I'm making it as easy as possible for you guys to compare them. I'm essentially just breaking down some of what I have from version 1.0 of my weapons guide for you (it hasn't been released yet).

This is a work in progress, some of the damages may need to be re-calculated (specifically the damages that have a decimal in them).

All damages listed are at 15 meters away unless otherwise specified.

Hit points
Hand/Arm: Refers to everything above the stomach and lower back aside from the head (so upper body along with hands and arms).
Foot/Leg: Refers to everything below the stomach and lower back.
Back/Chest: Refers to everything below the upper body but above bum.

Seriously the ak knife is too weak... in CF CN it's one of the best ak with lowest recoil and insane accuracy, but I can't expect much from a coupon gun. And the m4 adv in CN has wall bang ability

I got the DPS from each weapon by finding the median damage off of 3 shots:

1. hand/arm
2. foot/leg
3. back/chest

After I got the median I would multiply it by the specific gun's RPS(Rounds Per Second), and that would give me the DPS(Damage Per Second); pretty simple. If you want to see damage done to each body part, RPS for each weapon or much more, check out my unfinished guide here (it's stickied):

The good part about the ak knife is the knife part, mostly everyone uses that in GM.

Is this before or after the new RPS stats? Whatever the case, nice work. I'm more inclined to believe this than the other AK47 comparison threads; I doubt Z8 would put in much effort to reassign stats for reskin guns to only change them one point.

BTW, if I were ranking these, I'd use something like 1,2,2,2,2,2,2,8 instead of 1,2....3. Both are right and I don't think anyone's going to get confused, but the last gun is still the eighth best, IMO.

the ak-74 is not the same thing as an ak-47

I didn't list it here for the same reason that I didn't list the m16a2 or m16 in the m4a1 comparison thread.

No wall bang?? Maybe you don't have same dmg with wall shoots like normal shoots!! If you want to review wall bangs you should post stats with how much the power is decreased.
When you say No wall bang is like you will say you can't kill a guy trugh a box.

1) You should put how much damage the gun does do through boxes. Even if it is only 1 dmg to the foot. I know that its double digits for a headshot.
2) Are your reload times with our without the glitch? And if not then you should put in the glitched reload times, and they are you should also include the non-glitched reload times.
3) I'd also like to see you try more than just three values for a median, any worthwhile experiment should have at least five trials.

Sorry but I've been using the AK since beta and I want to make sure you do the best job you can on these reviews.

urmm, golden ak isnt listed in the DPS section... also this dosent take into account the recoil of the gun... i know thats hard to do, so maby you could lidt the time it takes the image of the gun in the lower right to turn compleatly red whilst shootin?

anyway nice as allways

I don't trust the image that turns different colours, and judging the "redness" of it wouldn't work very well.
