Why dont it start up?

My Crossfire starts up and jsut stays black and not responding
I have Windows Vista X64bit

vista is the works operating system... with vista you must run the program as administrator and the loading screen doesn't come up its just a black window ''not responding'' but it is u just need to wait it out or download game booster and run it b4 u play the game to see the game load

are you sure you got 64bits?
go to computer, system properties and check the system type

You made sure, that Crossfire.exe, gameguard.des and gameguard.mon files got full access through your firewall and that your Antivirus program allows these Applications to run? You need to start Crossfire as Administrator aswell.
