Is Crossfire the best free game available?

I like crossfire, I’ve tried Combat Arms but came back to Crossfire.

So I think Crossfire is the best. Do you agree and why.

If there’s another better game, why’s that one better?

the new version of cs promod is looking to be the best f2p game available, however it is still in development. they have addressed almost every problem they had with their alpha release.


but i don't really play any other f2p fps games besides crossfire so yes it is best by default

Well Yeah Crossfire is the best free MMOFPS IMO. MMORPG i would say maplestory <33 Quit that tho. Dropped my grades done like shat son.

i like crossfire better than most combat arms is annoying cause you dont really know who is on your team until your cross hair goes red plus ghost mode is the schizniddles

KOS is better than crossfire competition wise. CF is better for pubbing.

I personally have never played KOS but I have heard good things from bruce/icely and others, same with ava never played it but have heard good things.

the only game i prefer to crossfire is COD modern warfare 2 and ive only played it on my mates xbox for like an hour. its so good im gona get it for pc.

I have played OP7, SA,CA, Black Shot.

CF is still my #1 game

i didn't like AVA when i used the guns there was barely any recoil on them. I was pretty much just offloading clips in to people spraying from miles away

I'd say it's the best among the f2p shooters I played (Wolfteam, OP7, Wolfenstein and some more I guess)
C&C Renegade is not f2p, but there are very nice communities, I've ever seen around. (Besides some servers, where most people are OK, but mods are just like "Me Mod, you NOTHING")
If it would be f2p, CF might be only #2 (and because it's more tactical than just killing people (snipers apart - they're too pro) )

I've played a lot of games.

AVA has cheaters rampant, and the game doesn't feel right to me.

Sudden Attack is the same deal, except the cheaters cover by saying "i play koren sudden attck for 4 year i pro"

KOS has cheaters, and the community is mostly made of up people who couldn't cut it in CSS.

Soldier Front is a joke. I love old games/graphics (CS1.6, Quake3, CF) but SF really is just awful. Plus cash is really king in that game.

Warrock I tried for a good 5 minutes, nuff said.

Combat Arms seems to have very little recoil. Everything is bright and shiny like its made for kids. Who am I kidding? "Nut shot!" That was funny when I was 12. Not to mention the models lag like hell.

Cross Fire has its share of issues (mostly technical/game mechanics) but they can be fixed. New content is actually original, not just adding extra pixels onto a preexisting weapon and charging money for it.

The main reason why I play a lot more CF than CA is because I really hate the renting weapons for a day thing. It forces you to play as long as possible otherwise your money will be wasted.

I've not really played many other free fps games. I tried operation 7...and hated it. I still need to try AVA though...STUPID EXAMS!

Nonetheless, CF is a very entertaining free FPS.

Have a look at my Xfire Profile and then click Show Entire Gaming History. Then take a look at all the games I've played. I would have to say CF is one of the best F2P games out now.

Also note that UT2004 is the only game passing CF and I started playing that when it first came out.

I don't play CF because it's free. I play it because it's just an all around fun game.

I've been through Soldier Front, Combat Arms, and Sudden Attack. None compare to CF. I gave KOS a shot, but it just doesn't feel right. CF is where it's at.
