How to be a Pro. In my opinion
Hello CF Community. I always wondered how I could go pro in CF. What is a Pro? There is no definite answer to a pro, it’s all personal view points and choice. In my opinion, a Pro is one who has the respect of the CF community as well as the skill and ability in game to back it up and over all, have fun at the same time. Your view of a Pro may be different but this thread is based on my opinion only, so feel free to criticize or add in the comments.
Respect:
So starting, I’m going to say, earn the respect of others first. What do I mean by this? I mean, don’t start cursing people out, in or out of game. For example if someone kills you in a game. Don’t immediately start spamming the chat saying “HES HAKING KICK THE NOOB”. Also don’t start hating on others for the weapon they use. Yes, some guns may be a bit over powered, but in the end, it’s up to your own skill in the game. Yes some guy is using a M12 and headshots you, but that doesn’t mean he’s invincible, and you’re unable to do anything, you could play smart or learn to play better; it might be because you’ve just had a bad day. Also, stick around in the CF Forums and check others opinions, such as Kriss’s opinions and all those other considered OP guns in the game. You should play with the guns that are favored in the community. You may say to the comment before: “But I should just have fun and do what I want right?” Yes, and no. Yes, because this is supposed to be a fun game, you should be able to do what you want. No because you lose the respect of the community. People will most likely call you pro, if you use an M4 or AK, rather than a Kriss Super V or M12s. All in all: More skill needed to kill, the Pro’er the gun. Lastly, don’t discriminate or be racist. Yes, we all dislike Brazilian’s but I’ve seen some pretty nasty comments myself: “Brazilians are dirty and Illiterate and all should die.” That drops you lower than anyone in the CF Community. It drops you lower than any human in society too. Also, a very stereotypical thing in CF is to call EVERY hacker a Brazilian, German, or Turk, which is completely false. I mean I’ve seen plenty of American/Canadian/UK hackers as well.
Hacking:
Never Hack. It ruins the game for everyone, you lose (as was mentioned above) respect from the CF community. That’s not all, Hacking causes trouble for Z8Games, which they could be spending doing other things, I mean come on. No one wants to keep looking through hack complaints all day. If you don’t like hackers, don’t be one.
Skills:
There are plenty of video’s and guides about how to get better in CrossFire. Don’t get frustrated, just take your time and get used to gameplays and how to control weapons. In my opinion, choose a gun that is reliable. Learn from the best, such as (all my opinion) xfam0usx, OMGitsaduck, or even one of my idol MOD’s, BlindRob.
This is all in my perspective of a Pro (in a nutshell). Thanks if it helped and sorry if it didn’t :P . I do not see myself in any way, shape or form, a Pro. I’ve still got a LONG way to go. Feel free to criticize and comment . Goodluck and have fun

so your saying that a "pro" is defined by skill level?
If someguy was mad and hs anyone at first sight without hacks and called everyone nubs, and **** like that, would he be pro? -

No he is a sore winner, I got no respect for that. But if they were accusing him of hacks then it would be alright to call them noobs if they hackusated, or called him a noob. It's also dumb to call people noobs, if you are that good cause if you can 1 shot first sight there are plenty of good players that get good kdrs but you kill them because you shoot their heads first sight. -

Yes. (In a video game), being pro is being good. Not being nice or respectful. -

The title should have been called "How to be a better player".
An actual pro is someone that has play in the games tournaments (WOGL and ESL) and have actually won.
A pro isn't just someone who can shoot well.
yep thats i write all time !!! -

I'm editing for many different companies (movies, credits, openings etc.). I'm getting paid for that, but the crew that edits these has many more people in it and they're excellent at their job (more experienced than me since I just started), so to them I'm a newbie.
I doubt by getting paid in something makes you pro. It's how well you perform in that game/sport/etc etc. -

The best CF players don't buy ZP.
They use M4/AK/AWM regular.

First LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL at everyone who says they're "pro". Its great seeing kids who think they're pro because they usually end positive at the end of every game or the get ace the majority of the time. But I do like the thing about respect, props for including that.

A 'pro' is a professional. i.e Someone who earns money from playing the game. I do think that what you're describing is what makes a good player though, and i agree. Problem is too many people think they're better than they are (hence the H word being used like it's a blizzard).
On another note, the general consensus of a pro is someone with a scar light, armour and a tendancy to call everyone either a hacker or a camper, when in reality they mean someone who tactically defends key locations to prevent being flanked, not sitting in a corner by a door with a shotgun for the entire match. -

here as u wish. pro players are in korea popular ... they sponsored and have fanclubs ... what is pro? ... proffessional or amateur. explanation ... pro's get paid for that they are doing amateurs not! ... same rule irl. so what u talk about is smart players.
smart gamers enjoy a game without any critic on virtual environment ... so they don't really care wich attitude enemy try to use. they see and learn in a seconds ... awhile most low intellectual k1ds Q.Qing a river ... (explanation: k1d is one human wich can't play a main role irl so he don't take responsibility to himself, furthermore he hand over it to another)
btw smart player is skilled player ... and skills have a huge spectrum
aiming
tactical mapreading
tactical teamforcing
teamcovering
conversation
and much much more.
mmorpg is not only a game ... mmorpg is a conversation between each nationality without any prejudices ... but it fails hadly on this community *..~
best regards, Youk Fou -
