So what really happens when ur ingame and u press tab? i mean my FPS ALWAYS drop at the first seconds i press the key, am i really losing FPS or the game simply needs some time to measure the actual number of FPS ur geting?

ur fps drops cause ur using ur processor to open the screen and stuff , it goes back up when u let off tab , any time the screen changes , open other windows in game and stuff ur fps changes , its kinda common sense but hard for me to explain. like smoke flash more effects and such thats why u should turn blood and built trail and stuff off.

You are indeed losing frames while you are looking at your fps with the scoreboard because you are adding the score overlay on top of the game and that takes a little more work than just not looking at it. That is why you see it go down as soon as you check. Your FPS will go back up as soon as you stop looking at the score board.

get fraps, and then you constalty see your FPS, then when its you against 3-4 you record you making a huge clutch
