Server Traffic and Zombie Mode

Attention Undead Hunters!

Zombie Mode has been added to Cross Fire. If you haven't seen whats in the Undead Update which features this mode then we suggest checking out our visual spoiler here:

http://crossfire.z8games.com/undead_update_day9.aspx

For those of you who have been getting some errors when trying to create a Zombie Mode game, specifically a "Server Full" message this is because the maximum amount of Zombie Mode games are currently being played on the server/channel.

If you get this message we suggest checking to see if there is an available game to join in on to start hunting zombies! Otherwise you will just have to be patient until a slot opens up for you to make your own game.

You can try moving to a new channel and create a game. When you create a Zombie Mode game there is an indicator that shows how many more new rooms are available to make.

Please note that you can't start a Zombie Mode game unless you have a minimum of 3 people in the room.

If you have enabled shadows in the System.dat file then you will encounter an error when trying to play Zombie Mode. In order to correct this you will have to do the following:

  1. Turn Shadows back off in the system.dat file.
  2. Delete the system.dat file and re-run the game.
  3. Uninstall (completely) and reinstall Cross Fire
Please note that we do not condone the editing of game files and that support beyond this is not our responsibility if you have edited the files. A clean version of CF in this case should work fine. For more user-made information please see this thread:

If you encounter a Crash Error then we would like to hear about it. Post the error in our Technical Support Forums here:
