  • Well you need to try and restart.. Next you can try and close all of your stuff running in backround..Its a memory error and somthing is taking up your memory so cf will not run..
My advice is to try game booster..
  • have you tried turning it off and on again ^^
no but seriously try uninstalling then re-installing.

yer i turned it of for a whole night and it is still doing it then after i turned it back on and tried to play a game it said game gard has been falsified i was like wtf
  • Try to do a Memory Test to see, if your Memory is broken.
Otherwise close all unnessessary Background Processes that cause Crossfire to abort.
You can do that with something like Gamebooster.
  • if u never had this problem in the past, there must be a new third party app that is running in the background sucking up resources.. have u installed anything lately?
if u have 512mb of ram or less then your computer is fail... THE fact that comp builders even built Xp systems with only 512 ram is on the edge of being criminal... (considering the min requirment just to run windows, there is pretty much nothing left over to run any other applications)
one other thing. There should be a paging file set up, (a amount of hardrive space that acts as back up ram) you could increase the size of this, that might help... however i will not tell you how to do this cause it would be a fail fix.
    1. test your ram to make sure it is working right... (in most cases of failed memory the computer will not make it out of POST.) ie will not start.. but hey, it COULD happen.
    2. if u got less then 512... buy a 256 stick or 2... more then likely your ram is so old it will only be around 30 bucks U.S
