Close your antivirus, reinstall CF, or stop hacking :)

I added it to Exceptions a long time ago, actually around 4 months ago I think, does that count?
  • 1st you need to use 3-5 different anti-virus programs to catch everything... its just the nature of the beast given how AV programs scan for viruses.

2nd check your network settings... add exceptions for CF to your firewall and make sure no other programs are using the ports that CF does, as well as other security settings.

Finally if nothing else works try a fresh re-install of your Operating System (assuming you use Windows) and only install CF to see if there are any conflicts and then 1 by 1 re-install your personal programs to see what exactly is causing the problem.
  • Oh my lord don't listen to that last guy LOL. If you message me I can see about doing a remote assistance session with you which would allow me to access your computer. We can then un-install CF, remove all the old files, and then do a fresh install.

I repair computers and I'm willing to help you.
  • Another reason why that can happen is any program that sends out for an update check can trigger the hack detection. The hack detection views it as an outside source trying to inject or some crap like that.

It will be hard to figure out which program is doing it if you do not know how to shut down processes one by one and test. Mine drove me crazy until I reloaded windows, then installed CF and a bare mimimum of other stuff. I only use that PC for gaming and everything else goes to laptop.

Not sure which program it was but its been fine for a long time now.
