measure's are being taken from staff to prevent this happening in future, everything is back to normal and draft countinues as normal so spammer's failed...nuff said

We are talking about one person, tempz, who spammed the draft with multiple IP's. Another draft spammed by tempz...

Personally, I think the staff did a great job tonight even though people were acting all crazy because of the spamming.

Here's a tip for the team running a draft for future notice: you can disable the noise of a person entering the channel / Ventrilo server. Drafts are advised to do this because of how the community operates on the occasion.

The last time when i went to a NA draft (on Elite Gaming's vent) it got spammed, and hacked.
All channels were deleted, all ranks, ...
And now when strapz said on the forums that the NA community is welcome and they may play with us, it got spammed,
and then the NA kids blame it on our "stupid community"

aye, but it was one guy (wasn't it? i couldn't come..) and that one guy was tempz or so i've heard, and he is a bit of a pr1ck anyway...
either way i doubt it'll happen again with what's happening now.

FYI to the community.

Tempz spammed it in the morning following at about 2am.

chillz spammed it during the actual draft.

@frame lol point is it wasnt NA's though was it? it was the same to people it will always be. shifting the blame wont get public opinion to change lol so dont defend them.

true but it wasnt the sound that bothered me, although i have disabled this, during the draft my vent actually crashed my computer due to the processor trying to process incoming data packets such as people joining, due to this massive spam it crashed my computer twice.

so as a measure to protect the ventrillo we have disabled our guest accounts so people do now have to sign up to a specific website and have an account made for them, i will be looking into a few other measures to protect the vent(if any) after the large bulk of the large accounts have been made.

@ community, if you guys do have any suggestions to help protect the vent including and purchasable software please PM me via xfire willisbaws or pm me on the forum i will look into it.

tempz does this because his team gets eliminated first round in every draft and its never even a close match and he tries to dq the other team for something ignorant, and when it doesn't work you have to deal with him spamming vent, we've (hexus) banned him multiple times on multiple ip's. he reminds me of willofgod and stopraging, no life kids that can't win.
