While I agree the @ thread should have been kept to PMs for Boo, the purpose of his thread had NO negative purpose to it. He was not trolling nor was he trying to call someone out, which is what most of the @ threads were made for. On top of that, most of those @ threads were made KNOWING that it should have been kept to PMs.
