Late Night Drafts With David?

Okay so I've been thinking about bringing back an original classy draft. :P Things not to expect from this draft:

- No Website
- Nobody under the age of 15 running drafts
- No Waiting For 20 - 60 Minutes For Draft To Start
- No Bullsht


Things to expect from the draft:

- Start On Time
- Respected & Unbias Staff
- Have A Good Time

The way I would like to have this setup so things can get done quickly, I have a different type of setup or approach to the draft then others might have done in the past.

1. 1 Captain Per Team, 2 Choices of users by the captain. 5 Players Per Team. The rest of the players on that team will be chosen by random. This way it is literally impossible to team stack and more users will get a chance of playing. This also allows you to still play with your friends / clanmates.

2. With the randomization of players of teams, the matches should begin 15 minutes after.

Example: Draft Start Time: 10:00PM EST. Draft Matches Begin: 10:15 EST

3. Rules would be pretty much be NESL Rules but M4A1 Silver/ ADV, Ak Silver / Camo & all pistols would be allowed.

I'm not looking to start something such as Secular Gaming. I want to be bring the classic drafts back but also bring a new style to them. Let me know what you think and provide any ideas, criticism and suggestions.

Another thing i would like to see in pugs is a anti cheat running mabey ESL drafts ? Not really saying its needed but it would be helpful for some stupid people who think they can just do whatever in a draft and not recive a punishment besides a useless ban off vent but a ban from the league

Good luck. It's entirely too much work to have esl AC used in this situation though. Now I'll put my mod hat on and remind everyone that thread bumping is against the rules. Just post suggestions as he is asking that of you

Sounds good, Actually get some staff who play the game andspeak english, Most pugs lack both of those catgories

get rid of the m4a1-silver and adv, we don't need bads fragging because they can hold down the trigger and spray randomly

how about you aim better then the other person Then you dont have to worry about getting killed because it should be: skill > spray. Randies do it all the time. Doesn't mean I'm going to die because they spray and pray

i beg to differ. its has an easy spread and lower recoil, why do you think it was the most popular competetive gun when it came out? cuz its so easy. why do you tihnk it was taken out of WOGL and ESL rules. might as well allow the xm8 too

I think that drafts should be given some sort of competitive atmosphere but allowing a few weapons here and there. M4A1 Silver / ADV aren't a HUGE advantage. Xm8 can shoot through boxes with 100% Damage. M4 Variants can't. I just think creating a variety of weapons for people to choose while enjoying themselves is something I would like to see in my draft if I were to do this But thank you for your suggestion. Lets see what others have to say and I'll discuss it some more

silver / adv has silencers which means you can't hear outside of like 2 meters of them, whats your point. i agree with the ak ones, but the difference between the regular m4 and its adv versions is just too much to allow for fair play, but hell its your draft.

Hell I like the suggestions. Just think adding the weapons would be adding some variety and fun into the draft. Thats all pretty much

Well Daily pugs would have to be user ran. I have school daily so I'm unable to monitor. And when I come home, my main concern won't be to come on but possibly providing people to monitor daily pugs. That's another idea I'll have to come back too.

Well maybe taking away the M4A1 Variants and allowing Ak Silver & Camo along with keeping all sidearms allowed.

Good Luck. Make sure you listen to the players who will be supporting your draft. Don't hire volunteers who will abuse the powers you give them. That's usually the first mistake and you know how it goes from there.

Thank you and will make sure this is a well ran draft. This won't be a "Secular Gaming" based organization but a place to come enjoy yourself with friends and clan mates.
