I need to know, why does google chrome start to run so slow when I try to download a file?

I've used GC for a while and only started to get this problem.

Google chrome works fine, I try to download a file(any type of file, small and big), and google chrome starts to run SOO SLOWWWWWW. Pages takes AGES to load, sometimes they don't even load, and the file I was trying to download finally starts to download 5-10+ minutes later and when it starts downloading it takes FOREVER!

The extentions I run with it are: Avast-WebRep(6,500+ K of memory), TinEye reverse image search(5,000+ K memory), AdBlock (14,000+ K memory).

Any help?

You were right.
Now to do what I was to lazy to do from the start and re-install.
