New to CF and having issues with the kinzu

Just curious if there is a way to get around the mouse accel issues in CF using the kinzu.... right now when I play cf I switch back to my ms 1.1 but I use the kinzu for everything.

You can't turn off accel, it's built in.

This isn't my first rodeo with mouse accel and first person shooters. Yes I realize that the game has accel is built in but I can notice much much higher accel when I try to flick with my kinzu compared to 1.1. No need to troll just curious if anyone good at this game uses the kinzu or has found a way to do something about the accel issues.

I had a Kinzu and it just lagged in game and double clicked.
I went to the store and trade it for the money.

I use the kinzu, just live with it, don't think there is a fix or something.
After a while you get used to it, it isn't the worst bug in crossfire so I don't really care about it anymore.

You're pretty much stuck with it. I've tried every fix under the sun on a few popular mice and the accel never gets fixed. All the fixes did was mess up my horizontal/vertical movement ratio.
The 1.1 has a very low malfunction speed so you may be actually seeing the negative accel on the mouse at high speeds countering the acceleration built into the game engine, giving the feeling of less acceleration.

My kinzu has been great for me, maybe it's cause it's the first gaming mouse I bought, I dunno. You're either gonna get used to it or get fed up. Just keep messing around with settings and see how things go?

How is the intellimouse by the way? Never even heard of it till I saw it mentioned on the forums.

you can't get use to high high mouse accel is my issues. I can get use to it on the 1.1 but the kinzu is just wayyy out of wack ... thanks for the troLLs~

I've got the Xai, feels quite similar in this game but trust me, you'll get used to it after a short while.

btw I moved the mouse to 120 hz instead of 1000 and it worked fine

two things:

1) game has built in accel.

2) kinzu has acceleration problems from the getgo. 30-50% negative accleration that you cannot turn off, not to mention correction and several other drawbacks. for crossfire, the mouse is fine as everyone is basically playing with acceleration.



although the kinzu is sub par, it was the best mouse on the market in it's price range. (even though the sensor is truly terrible) but for around $30, you really have no room to complain.

my io 1.1 does fine..
n xai razer with 125 usb rate does fine too...
it's does feels differents when u got 500 or 1000 usb rate..

all better now and I can put my 1.1 back to rest

not just a problem with the kinzu, you can't run any mice at more than 125hz with cf

Put ingame sense to zero, and no more than 125Hz ExactRate. And find your fav sense with changing the CPI, windows speed and adding on a few on CF too if you like.

As long as your polling rate is 125 Hz you should be fine. I had the same issue with the Xai when my polling rate was above 125 Hz.
