rpk vs m60

Damage wise and RPS wise there the same.
The difference being in total ammo and spray/recoil pattern.
The M60 has 100/100 ammo
Well the RPK has 80/80 ammo.
The M60s spray pattern makes a big circle, which makes it hard to maintain a steady hit rate.
The RPKs spray pattern is easier to learn and the shots group together, making it easier to maintain a steady hit rate.
So M60 for more ammo but inaccuracy well spraying.
Or RPK for accuracy and not waste bullets well spraying. -
rpk, it deals more damage, and its easyer to hit the mutants... tru it has less ammo, but you get rewarded for getting kills, not surviving, also if your one-shotting with a RPK and not wasting ammo you will normaly outlast anyone who brings a assult rifle anyway.

RPK.
They both do 37-38 damage on a chest shot with in 5 meters. They also shoot at the same firing rate of 9.2 rounds a second.
The difference being that the M60s spray pattern sucks well the RPKs is easy to manage. -

the RPK SP is a big T rite?
OT: well, if you can control the beast, go with the m60, since it has more ammo to shoot mutants with, but if you want to have really high scores, aim for the head and keep a constant 1-shot wall, it will not let them pass, and each headshot will give you a 100 dmg counter, that will end up in about 50 100 dmg counters if you get a decent aim.
that's 5 kills with one belt of ammo .-. -

RPK goes up for 5 shots, then jumps to the right for about 30 shots then jumps to the left and right repetitively. Easy to learn and control. Basically what the TAR21 does.
M60 I haven't been able to predict yet. It seems to randomly choose a spot with in a circle and the longer you spray the bigger the circle gets. Meaning well spraying most of the shots will miss.
So the RPKs easier to learn spray means it misses less with practice.
For single shotting there about the same, but I feel the RPK is more accurate for it. At close range tho a bit more accuracy at single shotting doesn't mean much. -

m60 is the better choice, i have used it in all of my times in HM, 100/100 ammo and good power. however the downside is that the accuacy is terrible for spraying and that comes with the recoil too. so buy and m60 if you can burst more than spray
