The Barrett .50 cal is a dumb weapon to want with our current maps. It requires a large open terrain to really outshine our current AWM. In the C.Q.C. maps we have now its like driving your Abraham Tank on a busy highway. People may awe at you for a bit, but then laugh at your slow ass. The Barrett takes a fortnight between firing. In the time it has fired 2 rounds, the AWM already has emptied its mag. And the AWM already being a 1 shot killing machine, the Barrett wouldn't be an improvement.
What we need is an M110 semi-automatic sniper rifle. It may have less power than the AWM, but comes standard with silencer and should have a crosshair for C.Q.C., for it was made for both long ranges (800 meters) and short ranges (urban terrain). It basically would become a high powered, fast loading, single shot M4A1 Custom with a real sniper scope. Now THAT would be a weapon for PWNage. -

The 50 Beowulf the feel of a m4, and is a modified from a m4 with .50 cal bullets, so for all you m4 lovers heres a m4 on steroids. -
O.o lol how do you know so much about how a gun would be if its not even in the game?
And I dont rly care about if it would be alot worse then the AWM cause it looks SO AMAZING! lol and thats how I decide to buy a gun half f the time xD

There is also the 6.5 Grendel modification, which allows you to shoot similar round as the AK-47. The Beowulf modification is more powerful, but cuts effective range in half. The 6.5 Grendel modification does not however.PurpleSmok3 wrote: »

I married a marine, and go airsofting with his marine buddies twice a year. There I get to the latest developments in guns and what not.O.o lol how do you know so much about how a gun would be if its not even in the game?

I've played against it in CF china, and it shoots way faster than the AWM.
After all, it's a semi-auto rifle.
It packs a whole bigger punch than the AWM, has a longer range, bigger caliber (AWM has 7,62 mm and Barret has 12,7 mm),weights more (AWM 6,5 kgs - Barret 14 kgs) and has more recoil.
When it comes here, some AWM users will replace their cutie L96A1 for the badass M82A1. -

AWM is not 7.62x51mm NATO, if it was really this caliber, then PSG-1 and M700 would be 1 hit kill too
AWM is chambered for a powerful .338 Lapua Magnum Cartridge
First one is .50 BMG, second one is .338 Lapua Magnum, i dont know what are the 2 others -

what we really need is a XM110 SASR xD
semi auto, low recoil, decent power and great accuracy :P
(this is an airsoft model but it looks basically the same)

and i think the barrett is intended for zombie mode. its the only thing that ammount of power would be good for lol. appart from extreemly long distance and we dont have that in any of our maps

i want a gun with a scope cuz everytime i uze da m700 i never hit guy REAAAAAAL FAR away and peoplez say it a sniper? are they lying? and how do you use da scope if ther is 1??!?!
You don't hit someone because you got crooked sights. Perhaps you should stop QQing so that you can align them up? The M700 is the second most accurate sniper rifle in the game. -
