It wasn't their decision. Smilegate enforced the terms of the license in preparation of adding a licensee for most of the EU.

no its not bannable, its just that his IP wont let him login becase of where his ip is located.


BUT i do believe thatif its an old account it will let him use it. i sudjest changing passwords and e-mail afterwords to make it a clean trade.

i think giving away accounts is perfectly acceptable by the rules, minus the fact you do it at your own risk. theres many things that could go wrong during a trade of accounts. like people not giving proper information, which leads too account scamming.

Actually, while I personally have no problem with this type of account sharing (the whole altruism vibe, you know) it does violate the TOS.

No its not, account-sharing is account sharing. Who's to say he doesn't take the account back after 1-2 months?

So do custom killmarks see anyone getting banned for that or sound marks? Heck mods even made the modhub for that.

lets say someone just wanted too be nice and give an old account away? is that still a violation of the TOS?

You lot are aware that restricted IP's can still make accounts right? They just cant play CF on them.... Giving accounts would be pointless

i just wanted too know it its a bannable punishment if i want too give a friend an account i dont use. it he changed all the passwords/emails etc so i cant ever get access again. whould that be punishable?

i dont understand why is would be. theres no scams, no hacking and nothing illegal going on.

i can understand if it was some sort of account selling or somthing, of course you guys would ban that. but too give a personal real life friend a decent ranked account too play online with me with, and get banned? is just stupid as hell.


but there no way you guys would know if i did anyways. unless you track the persons IP adress, and even then i would just say i moved or went on vacation.

1st: its impossible to change ur login name i asked that and they refused. 2nd: what if some one gave his acc for his friend and his friend played on the account alot and bought zp on it, then u sned a support ticket asking ur account back and sure u know all info about the account!!! will that be fair when they give u ur account back and ur friend loses his money and time ?!!!!
