Acealeam's Grenade Guide

Everyone's heard of these, there unavoidable and (almost) always death. Heres how you can effectively boost your grenade kills (or efficency if your not using a frag.)

Heres how I chose what grenades to use (although I usually just stick with a frag.)

Flashbang:
-MM
-FFA
-SnD

Smoke:
-FFA
-SnD
-GM

Frag:
-TD
-GM
-MM

That basically concludes that.
Now the reason Frag and smoke have so little is because with frag I don't like to reveal my position in FFA, and SnD. With smoke, I really don't see the biggest use for this,I'd much more prefur Flashes or a Frag. Smoke grenades (IMO anyways) are just a disadvantage for both teams.

Now, tips with flashes:
-Don't use in TDM you might flash a lot of your team.
-Go for snipers over all, I find it's much more effective that way.
-Useful for all types of weapons

Tips With smoke:
-Use as with a sniper
-Smoke out anyone when you think they know where you are. Change position and search for the red name tag, fire.

Tips with frags:
-Don't use at the beggining of spawn, you've only got one make it count.
-Fire at someone if one of the following conditions are met.
They are in a group
They are unsupecting
You are out of ammo/reloading

Smokes are imo the most useful grenade. Smoking crosses so your whole team doesn't get picked, throwing fakes to get a team to rotate, chucking it around a corner so people think its a flash for a split second and avert their eyes so you can get the jump on them, smoking choke points so you can easily pick a whole team just by firing at their names. There is more as well.

Smoke is very useful in TDM (Team Death Match) because when you kill someone with the bomb throw a smoke to make other people think "Oh this is just smoke oh well there's nothing here" so he just walk through hopefully not noticing the bomb. Also if your planting the bomb after finishing throw a smoke so the enemy don't know where to defuse hopefully. Plant it near the stairs or something then throw a smoke between those two and the smoke will get bigger and cover up both. And also good in GM for seeing ghost.
Oh yes and also in GM once the bomb has been planted and your a GR use smoke near the bomb then flash (optional) so enemy ghost don't know where the bomb is.

Azure good point but if your talking about grenade expansion then you would use one of each so that would be a good idea.

You're not seeing a lot of replies because this is fairly useless information, sorry to break it to you. Anyone that's good would know all this information from experience/common sense, and the people that suck don't even care.



Also, I guess you havn't realized that you can't edit your thread after a certain amount of time
