Wait do you mean like if you can use teamspeak or xfire in cf? If so yes you can, but you have to download it.

If your wondering what a server is then you have to find one and connect to it.

Also, teamspeak is something you use that enables you to talk to friends with a microphone. Xfire can also do this, but xfire is a more chatting/Facebook kind of program
