Giving us a more stable connection?
Connection stability is often a factor determined by the user and not the server.
The server is either up or down. And unless major backbones are out, or other such larger factors, it has the same standard connection day in and day out. Often times fluctuating connections is more of a local level thing.
It should be noted however that there is noting bad about a server upgrade. Whether its a more stable OS, more ram, better drives, motherboards etc etc etc. This always means good things for the servers themselves. They can handle capacity better, stat updates more efficiently and more.
While I'm not allowed to speak to the specifics of the upgrades just know that it's a good thing! -

Beyond the fact that it's a Hardware Upgrade, there's not much else to tell.
It is likely not going to have a huge impact on something like connection, because that is more closely tied to your connection to the internet rather than the servers. As mentioned in the post above however, upgrades of any kind are never a bad thing.
